Poor bathroom, outdated bedding

  • 1 of 5

We just would like to have a nice bath and crispy feeling of bedding after a long sight seeing at Rome but bath tub is not very clean and bath tap water pressure was very low and even shower head had a leakage. It was not enough hot water so my kids had a cold bath first day. The owner was kind to try to explain public transportation around though. It doesn't show the price on the web but it was pretty much expensive. We booked 6 originally but my parents couldn't make it but they charged the same price. Most of Rome accommodation charge per person or per bed room.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry that the client left the apartment in a bad condition and with a damaged bed headboard. The customer sent an sms in the evening to inform me that he had problems with the hot water and immediately tried to contact him 3 times but he never responded. The next day I went directly and there was no problem, with hot water or pressure, and no shower loss. The stain that is from always in the tub is not dirty, but a stain on the paint and all the guests considered it a normal thing. The prices are indicated in the ad text and are agreed upon with the customer. If he books for 6 people and we prepare the apartment for 6 people, beds, linens, towels, but then he comes in 4, the price does not change. Having he warned in time, we would certainly have changed the price and the preparation of the linens, towels, beds. Before of this, we have had always all positive feedback of 4 or 5 stars. I satisfied all requests of him, time of check-in in advance, sterling payment, but it obviously was not enough to please a guest who prefers to write negative reviews to cover the damage he left.

Excellent!

  • 5 of 5

Stefano was a magnificent host, providing us with details on how to get around the city. The apartment was perfect with everything we needed and close to groceries, pizzaria (Mario's across the street) and a cafe just up the street.

Can't wait to get back there again!

feeling home in Rome

  • 5 of 5

If you are dreaming about feeling at home, while visiting Rome, this is the right place to go. The apartment has everything you need. It is close to public transport, supermarkets and restaurants, in a safe area. Perfect with kids - we stayed here with two kids in the age of 10 and 12, and two adults, and we all enjoyed it. Stefano is really service minded, always answering emails and all questions, and he even welcomed us when we arrived at the apartment.

Rome is a fantastic city. Beside the most known places, we can recommend to visit the Castel Sant'Angelo, the area around the synagogue with the Marcelo theatre (go there in the late afternoon, because of the light), and all the small restaurants in Trastevere.

We definitely will come back to this place.

BELLE SITUATION

  • 4 of 5

Bonjour

  • 5 of 5

"La nostra vacanza a Roma è stata splendida. Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia dal punto di vista dell''alloggio (il proprietario è stato disponibilissimo e la casa pulita e accogliente) sia dal punto di vista di quanto intrapreso (siamo riusciti a fare più di quanto avevamo messo in programma). Purtroppo le cose belle finiscono sempre troppo in fretta, ma il ricordo altrattanto bello ci accompagnerà a lungo.
