We had a great time celebrating my brothers birthday in Asheville. The house was perfect for us, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was amazing!
I enjoyed this place. Very clean and modern design. Very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Hot tub was a fun addition.
This place worked for our needs, however, it was not quite as nice as we expected. The floors are unfinished, the layout of the house is a little odd, and the doors to the bedrooms are thin and do not lock. In addition, when we arrived, the house had not been fully cleaned. However, the hot tub was a nice perk!
One thing to note when booking this place, the stated nightly rate does not include the $136 cleaning fee! Make sure to factor that in when you are considering the house.
This place is not picturesque, but it was great for what we needed, a decent place to crash in town at a good price. The interior was clean and very modern. We actually eat as a family, which was somewhat difficult at the counter, but every other piece of furniture was comfortable and clean and suited our needs. Way better than staying in a hotel for the week.
Great location for being able to get anywhere in Asheville in minutes. Located in walking distance to the majority of galleries, although we did drive the most of the time. Outside of the residence is nothing special to look at, but that did not matter to us. The space inside met are immediate needs. Nice layout and adequately furnished as the add states. The con's we had are the following:
1) Hot tub should have been checked prior to arriving so that it was usable. When we arrived it was down a foot of water and the chlorine levels were suspect. Once a call was made it was addressed the next day)
2) All of the doors in the place are barn style with no locks. If you are looking for uninterrupted privacy this may be a concern
3) Based on the design of the house , sound travels. Finished cement floors and no real mechanism for trapping sound - it bounces around.
None of the above con's would prevent me from renting this location again. Would recommend this location to others.
What a wonderful place! We had 4 women celebrating my mother's 60th birthday and this house could not have been more perfect. The house was clean and fresh towels waiting for us on each bed. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. It was the best night sleep I have had in a while. And given all the space we had, it was easily the best decision for our stay in Asheville. We were never on top of each other and it was our home away from home. The jacuzzi was fantastic! What a way to end each night looking at the stars and the mountains. So relaxing! We went on walks each morning down the main Arts District (not even a mile) where we would get breakfast pastries, coffee and look at art. Such a cute strip! We were only a 5 minute drive to the Biltmore and 5 minutes drive to downtown Asheville where there are so many wonderful restaurants, shops, bakeries and activities. (A 5 minute drive because there are traffic lights, it really is more like 3 minutes) I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. You are close to everything Asheville has to offer and you are in the comfort of your own home at the end and beginning of each day. If I come to Asheville again, I hope this house is open. Enjoy your stay everyone!
