Spacious, quiet, cute!
Super cute house with lots of room for your pup to run around. Very quiet end unit and cozy!
Great location but the property needs some TLC...
Great location to walk everywhere in Lewes! The property is spacious and very open, and we loved having all the ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable.
Now for the things that aren't so great. A lot of things either need a deep cleaning or need to be replaced, such as the carpets (shag carpets especially). The living room furniture is not particularly comfortable (and the upholstery needs cleaning), nor are the dining room chairs easy to sit on for very long. And a couple of repairs are needed: the washing machine only uses hot water (even when you set it to cold), the dishwasher 'dry' cycle no longer works.
Finally, be aware there will be a lot of construction noise around the house for many months...we listened to bulldozers and wood chippers for hours each day, as the construction of a new housing development RIGHT NEXT DOOR is just starting.
It's a great location and a relatively new place...just needs some attention.
Thank you for your review. We will certainly have the washing machine issue looked into as well as the dishwasher. The couch was actually just replaced a few weeks ago so that should no longer be a problem.
As for the construction noise, yes, they have just started site work on a nearby piece of property for a new development. The price of progress, I suppose, but we do live in a very popular resort community. Hopefully, the construction of these new custom homes will be done in a timely fashion but being in-town, there is always some sort of remodeling/construction going on.
