Fantastic cabin in a great location. Secluded but close to Boone/ Blowing Rock. Cabin instead was much bigger than anticipated and had great views from the front porch.
End of Rainbow
Excellent location and lodging facility, moderately secluded, .There seemed to be an issue with hot water in showers/ tub..Otherwise, met all expectations and would enjoy another stay there.. Unpaved road at end of acces , did not pose any problem.
More than expected
Totally pleased with the property. Six of us stayed here and had an excellent time. We had enough beds, bathrooms, couches, etc to accommodate us. The place was very clean and decorated perfectly for a mountain cabin. No complaints. The drive down the dirt road was even fun. We would definitely stay here again.
nice place convenient location difficult road to travel
The cabin is nestled in the woods down a gravel road, yet it is very convenient to grocery, restaurants, downtown Boone, and all the attractions the area has to offer. The porch is comfortable, as is the interior. Nice bed and comfy couches. Plenty of sleeping space upstairs we did not use. Attractive decor. We went for a short hike this morning. The scenery around the cabin is lovely!
The perfect cabin in the woods yet so close to Boone.
Our family had the privilege to call End of the Rainbow home for 5 days over the Christmas holidays. The loft provided perfect, cozy sleeping quarters for our three grown children while we were snug in our own bedroom downstairs. The cabin sits between two running creeks complete with multiple waterfalls. Exploring behind the cabin was full of beauty and a very friendly Golden Retriever. He loves to fetch. We put the kitchen through the paces with full Christmas cooking. The kitchen is completely stocked with anything you need. We look forward to coffee on the large front porch when we return in May to see the Rhododendron bloom. You need an AWD vehicle in wet weather.
