Beautiful home in the hills
This was a great place for our two families to stay. The views were amazing and the house had everything we needed to make us feel at home.
It was better than I expected, lots of room and everything we needed .
We enjoyed our weekend , we stayed with 8 people had plenty of space , the road was a little sketchy because of muddy conditions but managed , that time of year was expected to be sloppy . Would recommend this property to anyone with a large group .
Beautiful property and VERY accommodating!!
Absolutely loved the cabin and the location!! Such a great place to stay with the family and enjoy the amazing views of Red Lodge MT, especially in a snowstorm! Everything was perfect!
This is a fabulous cabin! Everything you need is supplied for a great family or friends weekend. We were able to cross country ski the subdivision loop which was a great alternative on the day that it was too cold for us to hit the downhill slopes. The pool table was a great way to entertain ourselves since it was too cold to be skiing.
Cabin is clean, spacious, & close to town & the ski lodge. Thank you so much for allowing our furry babies too!
This home is in a beautiful location.
This home is located in a rural addition to Red Lodge, Montana. None of the other homes are visible from the yard of the cabin. All you see is the sky and the mountains. Beautiful.
The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and linens. I liked the fact that dish soap and laundry soap that is left by the previous guests isn't thrown away after they leave. That way if you forget something you don't need to take an unplanned trip to town.
There were plenty of towels in the two bathrooms and they were clean with plenty of hot water for the morning and evening round of showers for 8 people.
The linens and pillows on the beds were nice and there are marked bins with extra blankets if they are needed.
The pictures of the lower level with the pool table and wood stove are accurate it is a very cozy relaxing room.
I had never stayed in a large open floor plan cabin before. It was hard to be quiet and not disturb others because every small noise like getting a cup out of the cupboard, or flushing the toilet could be heard throughout.
I would not consider this home handicapped accessible because there is no bathroom on the lower level . It would be possible to get to the main living area without stairs but the walkway outside to the deck is not paved or level.
There is a nice grill on the deck that you are welcome to use.
I have visited Yellowstone Park from the Cody entrance many times and felt like it is easier to get to the main attractions from that gate. but that may be because the highway into the park was under construction and you had to be past the construction area by 8:00 pm to get back to Red Lodge, this made for rushed day trips as we had children, a person in need of refrigerated medicines and old dogs we were accommodating.
I would recommend this home to people that were not planning on Yellowstone being the highlight of their trip. There are plenty of other beautiful sights and things to do in that area.
There is always something to do in Red Lodge - year round for all ages!
