Exceptional Home with all the amenities for a family or multiple couple stay

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful; Clean home with large open concept kitchen/dining/living space. Large master with spacious bathroom and steam shower. 4 bedroom with 3 full bathrooms accommodating our 4 couple crew. Enjoyed mornings on the back deck watching hummingbirds, chipmunks and listening the chirping birds. A pleasant surprise to find a wild raspberry bush in the back yard for complimenting our granola/ yogurt breakfast. Local 9 hold executive golf course; Fly fishing badges for 2. When returning to Aspen for the Snowmass Jazz Festival, we will strongly consider this home. Top Notch

Perfect Home for a Roaring Fork Valeey Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in a number of really good VRBO rental homes, over the years, but this home was head and shoulders above the others. So many great things to say about the home, location, and the amenities. When we walked in the door, you can tell the house was very well kept and really clean. It was almost like walking into a showroom for the first time. The kitchen area is incredible. High quality appliances and virtually any cooking utensil you would need could be found. The home had two grills, one for gas grilling and another that uses charcoal. A large deck is perfect for enjoying the great outdoor environment that the valley can offer. I also want to make a special mention of the steam shower. I've never used one in a house and this thing was amazing. After a day of fishing and other outdoor pursuits, the steam shower was a huge benefit. Speaking of amenities, the fishing badges that come with the property shouldn't be overlooked if you are a fly fisherman. The badges open up a tremendous amount of quality fly fishing to you that is literally in your backyard. This benefit alone is a huge advantage for anyone looking at a Roaring Fork Valley property. We are definitely going back to this home again, but next time I'll sure to book a longer vacation to really get a chance to enjoy this property.

Beautiful home in a handy location

  • 5 of 5

This home is truly beautiful and well-kept. We had a full house, and were very comfortable for the weekend. We were very impressed by how well stocked the kitchen and rooms were, though I'd strongly recommend more towels for such a large house. We met one neighbor who was very kind and friendly, and the neighborhood itself was calm and quiet. It was pretty clean, though a couple of their towels smelled a teeny bit mildewy, like they hadn't been dried fast enough or well enough. Agree with the info about the deck chairs, some of them were so worn they were flaking, but there were plenty of chairs outside, so it wasn't a huge deal. There was a lack of dry firewood and kindling, which was a bummer, as we weren't able to get a fire going while we were there. There also seems to be a wasp nest or two on the back deck, so you might want to look into that. There is some noise from the highway, so be aware of that.

Carbondale visit

  • 4 of 5

The location was perfect in a quiet neighborhood with easy access and we met several of the neighbors who were very friendly and helpful. The home was clean, well furnished and matched the representation presented in VBRO. Linens and bathrooms were clean and the entire house was made available including the garage, which we did not use because the weather was perfect. The only issue was the outdoor kitchen area was not clean and some of the chairs have rotted from weather but there were plenty of other chairs. The outdoor cooking area was very hand for a small gathering we had just to sit and talk. Several deer noticed during our walks in the neighborhood.

The recent additions/renovations especially to the interior were very nice and was the focal point for our family gathering. Would consider renting this location in the future.

Owner's Response: I'll check on the deck chairs- they were all refurbished with new outdoor all-weather mesh last Spring. It would be odd for them to be in disrepair in just a year.

We Want To Go Back!!

  • 5 of 5

I am always a little apprehensive renting a home just from photos. Trust me, the photos did not do it justice as this home is truly spectacular. We wanted a home that would accommodate my husband and I along with our two adult "kids" and their combined 3 children and it did not disappoint. Each bedroom was large and extremely comfortable. Having wi-fi was important for the "workers" to connect with their jobs back home and their is a quiet office room to work in. I love to cook and this was a dream kitchen for all of us. We sat outside on the deck when the weather was nice and took in the fabulous mountain views along with the cool evening air. Inside the table was huge and we could all sit around it or just be casual and sit around the granite island. The area is so convenient for day hikes, swimming, biking, rafting and horseback riding. I cannot say enough about Stacey. There was a water main break the day we arrived and she kept me updated all evening....And when we arrived, the water was on!!! I would highly recommend this house. We also met the owners who were visiting the next door neighbors. BTW, all such lovely and friendly people. Thank you Martin for this past week.
