Quiet neighborhood just down the street from the Coral Ridge Yacht Club. This remodeled open-concept unit has 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Granite countertops grace both baths and large open kitchen. Step through the front door and see the calm waters of the Seminole Bay which provide privacy off the busy Intracoastal waterway. The condo has impact resistant windows throughout which make the visitor feel as if they are living in a single family home. The front bedroom has a window to the courtyard and the rear bedroom looks onto the bay. The covered patio boasts a bistro table and chairs as well as a lounging chair to watch the boats drift by. The nearest strip center (a 5 minute walk) has a Publix, a coffee house, a juice bar, a French bakery shop, and a bank. Cross over Sunrise boulevard and you will find fine restaurants and upscale shops at the Galleria Mall. Walk over the bridge to Ft. Lauderdale beach for some exercise and a tan. This is the best location in Ft. Lauderdale for easy access to everything you might want to do, without sacrificing privacy. Sunrise Bay is a very quiet condo with a lovely pool and lush waterfront backyard. The building has just been repainted for the 2017 season and we replaced the air conditioner last month. The condo association requires guest approval. We are only permitted to rent one time per year and prefer guests who wish to stay at least 3 months.
This home was purchased by my mother in 2013. Illness has made it necessary for her to move to Florida's west coast to be near her daughters and we hope to rent it for the season so as to keep it for many more years. My sister and I are Florida natives who grew up in this neighborhood and still enjoy visiting when the condo is not rented.

As natives, we have spent many years exploring Ft. Lauderdale and feel that this area, near the Sunrise Blvd beach provides safety as well as great shopping, restaurants and entertainment. When we visit, it takes only a few minutes to get to the airport, the beach, great restaurants and our best friends who still live there.
This unit was remodeled before we bought it. It is one of the nicest condos we have ever been inside. We rent from VRBO all over the country and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. All kitchen items and bedroom items are new and the living room furniture was purchased last wnter.
