Set back in the forest just a 10 minute walk from the beach, this stylish and completely remodeled one-bedroom Cannon Beach vacation home was once featured on the HGTV show "Beachfront Bargain Hunt" and is a perfect spot for a quiet retreat for two. The vibe here is whimsical and laid-back, with ocean views, a gas cast iron stove, a full kitchen, and a cozy bedroom loft!
This quiet Cannon Beach location is away from the crowds, but only four blocks from Sleepy Monk for coffee and pastries in the morning, art galleries for afternoon browsing, and just a few steps further to the beach and views of iconic Haystack Rock. The cottage itself is the upper level of a duplex, but you'll have your own private entrance and deck.
After a day beach combing or flying kites, come back for a night in front of the fire or a DVD on the flat screen TV. When you stay here, you'll also have WiFi for staying in touch and a full kitchen for preparing delicious vacation meals. And while you won't have a dishwasher, you can always let the posts and pans soak while you stroll down to the beach for a gorgeous sunset.
One of the nicest locations in this Cannon Beach getaway in the trees is the spacious deck. You'll have a beautiful tree-lined view and peeks of the Pacific Ocean in the distance. And when it's time for bed, climb the stairs to the loft for a cozy and comfortable queen sized bed. While up to four guests can stay at this Northern Oregon Coast vacation home (there's also a sleeper sofa in the living room), the treehouse is made to sleep two comfortably.
This cute and adorable coast cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway, a solo trip to work on writing and art projects, or any retreat when you want a quiet little section of typically bustling Canon Beach. When you stay here, you'll even have a washer and dryer for clean clothes during your stay. But most importantly, prepare to be inspired and relaxed during your vacation here!
Day trips can easily include Astoria to the north (25 miles) or destinations like Rockaway Beach and Nehalem State Park are just to the south. Of course, you might just be completely content to wander to town each morning, get coffee and a rosemary sea salt bagel, then spend your day on the beach digging for clams, walking along the sand, or relaxing with a good book. Finish the day off with a ice-cold pint at the Pelican Brewery, and indulge in a tasty dish.
This Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental is ready and waiting for your visit! Come unwind in the trees at this wonderful Cannon Beach treehouse.
Please note that this home is comprised of 2 units, each rented separately.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This was a wonderful space for my husband, toddler, and me. The views were beautiful, the bathtub was welcome after a cold walk on the beach, and the house was charming.
We didn't see a sign anywhere showing that the driveway was going up that way, making it hard to find in the middle of the night. Other than that, we enjoyed being there and loved all of the cedar paneling and views! The bathtub was perfect after coming back from a beautiful winter-y beach. Thank you!
It was overall a great experience staying in this house. As with any location you can always find something to complain about, but nothing significantly negative to report.
It is a good note that the house in on a moderately steep hill, so if you have trouble walking up/down steep inclines then you might be limited to driving in and out.
We absolutely loved this place. Very quite and secluded with wonderful views of the beach. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
