About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

spacious accommodation

  • 3 of 5

The house easily sleeps 10 but you can't all sit down to eat or relax together as there are not enough places/seats.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything that you needed.

The barbecue automatic lighter does not work and the hot tub did not work until day 3.

There are minor issues with the house that could be easily sorted such as light by the door entry system so that at night you can see the numbers.

spacious accommodation

  • 4 of 5

The accommodation is spacious and would easily sleep 10, although you couldn't all eat together as there were only 7 chairs for the table or relax in the lounge. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived but this was sorted after a few emails and was available by day 3.

Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.

Good home with a few issues.

  • 4 of 5

The house was big and the layout was solid. There were some issues that need to be fixed, though:

1. Hot tub magically lost 1/2 the water one night. Need to keep an eye on it.

2. Fireplace was temperamental. It would work sometimes and not others.

3. The ice on the driveway was absolutely treacherous. It was a small mountain of ice with slopes on both sides and not nearly enough de-icer.

4. The grill was not cleaned and no way to clean it.

The good:

1. Big rooms and lots of space.

2. Great kitchen with nearly new appliances and lots of utensils, pans, pots, etc.

3. Big kitchen table.

4. Fireplace was great when it worked.

Overall would stay again if the issues are fixed.

House was OK but details matter.

  • 3 of 5

Overall the house was OK. However for as much as we're paying we have maybe a bit higher expectations. Hot tub jets didn't work, broken closet door, no heat in master bath except by dragging a space heater out of the closet, couldn't figure out the fireplace, generally a series of small frustrations thst diminished the stay. Most of this could have been avoided if they kept a booklet (like most places do) with information specific to the property about how to operate the various features. I called about this and the response was "we're going paperless". Well paperless doesn't work here. Our whole intention was to disconnect and not spend time searching electronic devices trying to find the information, which wasn't very evident. So, overall not too thrilled.
