I live just a few blocks away from this VRBO home so if you need anything, I can be there in minutes.
Leanna Petrivelli purchased this House in 2014
Why Leanna Petrivelli chose Columbus
I purchased this house after my nephew came to Columbus for his Ranger training, and eventually Ranger graduation. I saw a need for a place for families to stay that was comfortable to enhance the whole experience. Whether people come to Columbus for basic training or Ranger graduation, or whether it's for a business trip for AFLAC, TSYS, or Blue Cross/Blue Shield, or to visit a loved one in St. Francis Hospital just across the street, the goal is comfort!

Cute House in Little Neighborhood
We were extremely thankful that we found this place on Homeaway. We are a military family and had been in the middle of a move to Fort Benning. We had to wait on a house and with 2 kiddos, were not really wanting to do the hotel thing while we waited. This was a very affordable home in a pretty good neighborhood. We ended up staying a month while we waited for the housing people on post to get a house ready for us. Thank you Leanna for your flexibility and support during our move! We’re so glad we saw you on Homeaway. The only reason for not giving a 5th star is just because the house is in need of some updates both inside and out. But after letting Leanna know about a couple of things, it sounds like she’s in the process of doing that. Thanks again Leanna!
Nice comfotable place
Comfortable and close to everything we needed. Could use some updates in the kitchen and bath. Owner was very responsive to needs.
Very comfortable cottage. Well equipped and met all our needs. We would definitely stay there again.
Such a perfect little quaint place for our stay. My wife and I were fortunate enough to find this little gem for our long weekend visit when our son graduated basic at Ft. Benning. We were able to spend time with him here, where he was able to enjoy some R&R, as we might have at home. A small place with everything you'll need!
My family and I stayed here while visiting our son at Ft.Benning. The house was conveniently located to base. I was a little disappointed in the house. It was not clean. My husband cleaned the shower-hair was still in the tub. When we pulled our sheets back there was human hair and pet hair all over the sheets. The neighborhood was less than desirable. We left early because we could not take the smell and the people walking up and down the road yelling. I do not recommend this house.
Great place to stay for military families
My family of 3 adults stayed here for Family Weekend at Fort Benning. I was looking for a more homey like atmosphere for my soldier in training and he really appreciated that. It had everything you need for a comfy stay with plenty of room. The two bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for your meals. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of height for a taller person. There's a nice little shed in the backyard that was perfect to just hang out in as was the front porch. Other reviewers have commented on the "musty" smell. Well, it's an older home. It certainly didn't have any foul odors to me and I'm pretty scent sensitive. I found it to be clean and comfortable and the fresh flowers on the table was a thoughtful gesture. The neighborhood itself was pretty quiet during our stay. The cottage's location is perfectly located to get to where you need to go and the owner was very quick in her responses to my questions. I knocked off one star because the front screen door is broken and it's very dark in the front of the house. If you arrive at night that could be a problem. Maybe some solar lights might fix that and fixing the screen door would be a welcome repair. But if you are looking for a place to stay that doesn't have a hotel like feeling and would prefer the atmosphere of staying at a home it's perfect. I would recommend it highly.
