2 bedroom 2 bath house located approximately 0.8 mile from Sombrero Beach. Located on a deep boating canal with 50' of canal frontage & 25' of dock space. Covered parking for up to 3 cars. The house next door is also available at VRBO #644710. Each house can sleep 6, so if you book both they can sleep a total of 12. Here's the other property to check availability vrbo 644710 if you would like to book both houses. Rates quoted are per house. Saturday to Saturday bookings preferred in the summer months. Bring your boat or hire a local charter captain & enjoy some of the best fishing in the country. There are also limitless scuba/snorkeling spots nearby. You can explore the entire Florida Keys chain of islands, as Marathon is centrally located, making day trips a breeze ranging from Key Largo down to Key West.

We've been enjoying the Keys since 2008. Great beaches, fishing, snorkeling & dining. We love the Marathon area because it isn't as busy as Key West & much less crowded. Sombrero Beach down the street from our house is consistently rated in the top 10 in Florida. Come find out why we love it so much

Why Glen Mitchell chose Marathon Area

Very affordable & can be split between 2 couples. Will sleep up to 6 with the credenza bed in the living room. Plenty of covered parking. Canal front for your boat. Free standing house, so no shared walls like you would experience in a condo or hotel.

Good location and clean.

Second time I've stayed here and no surprises. Great communication and very clean. Everything one needs for a stay in Marathon. Close to everything. Can walk to Sombrero Beach. I will return.

It met our expectations.

We really enjoyed sitting out on the rear balcony each morning enjoying the view of the canal!

Our only suggestion would be to paint the house number something other than white. The columns were recently repainted white, which looked nice, but the numbers were also painted white at the same time. We went past the house initially as we could see the house number.

Had a great week, was there during mini lobster week. Beautiful home, well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Public grocery store and kmart close by. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy the Keys

Awesome central location.

Marathon was a great central location for exploring the Keys! The house sits on a canal and is a nice walk to the beach or a 2 min. drive. We found the house clean and and sparsely stocked. The owner returned our damage deposit quickly after our departure. Stores and restaurants are near by .the house felt safe and the neighborhood is nice.

Clean, quiet, wonderful family stay

The property was great! Two bedrooms, but there are two other beds that can be made up in the living room. Within walking distance of a nice,big beach - Sombrero Beach. We were able to walk to the fireworks on the 4th and avoid major traffic. Only 45 minutes to an hour from Key West. The owner was very responsive prior to and during the stay. We would definitely rent this place again! Thank you, Mr. Mitchell!
