Amazing Destination for Family R & R

We have rented homes both in the US and in Europe and this home was absolutely the most well stocked of them all! John was as warm and engaging to work with as was his property manager. This made planning our trip a breeze. The home is well appointed, cozy, inviting and very clean. The outdoor dining and lounge area was our favorite spot to ease into the morning with a cup of Kona coffee and to wind down every night with a glass of wine... I loved listening to the birds so much, I recorded their chirping as a last memento! I would highly recommend this property!

The waves were too high for mere amateurs to swim or surf on the North Shore, but we enjoyed watching the experts. DO NOT miss eating at the food trucks. Our best meals of the trip were there!

AMAZING TRIP

Our experience started with our reserving this home. The owners are amazing to work with; we were immediately cared for with every question. We had no idea how beautiful this home was. When we pulled up our family was thrilled! We are a family of 8 and were happy to see that there was so much room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was amazing (well stocked), all the appliances were brand new, and they provide even down to the small details of the ice chests and chairs for the beach. Our 2 favorite parts were the incredible lanai where we would go to first thing in the morning to lay on the lounge chairs to drink our coffee and sit at the large table out there for our meals that we ate at home. The other favorite was the "yard"! It is so beautiful and lush! Most of us continued to walk around and view the plants and views. (Oh! I want to go back!) Also, we walked almost every morning or night to the famous Ted's Bakery. It is a very short walk and one of the highlights of the trip. Things we did that were were: kayaking (Kahana River & Bay), hiking to a waterfall (Maunawili), snorkeling at Shark's Cove, shops at Haleiwa (get shaved ice or acai bowl), Dole Plantation, Green World Coffee, and LOTS of fantastic beach time. The shrimp trucks are to die for! So...if you want a trip that is this side of heaven and an incredible place to stay...this is your place!!!

Great place for a family vacation

Our family of 7 really enjoyed this property! Meals on the lanai were a highlight. It is a great location, away from the busy highway but a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was well supplied with all needed dishes and utensils. Having a washer and drier and gas grill were a definite plus. We used the provided coolers and beach chairs. I highly recommend this property.

We loved this well located, super clean, fully equipped house.

Our family group of eight stayed here in January and we could not have been more comfortable. The whole house is lovely and spacious, but I particularly liked the large, well equipped kitchen, BBQ, and lanai which were perfect for family dinners.

The house is well located to take advantage of everything that the beautiful island of Oahu has to offer. It is steps away from local favourite, Ted's Bakery, a short walk to watch the pro surfers at Sunset Beach and a short drive to many lovely beaches, hiking, golf, a great zip line and the island's well know shrimp trucks. Slightly longer, but very scenic drives will take you anywhere on Oahu.

Our two week vacation was very relaxing and our stay at this property hassle free. We all hope to return and would stay at this house again.

Perfect Spot

I spent just over a week here with my whole family recently. The place is amazing. The North Shore of Oahu has some of my favourite beaches and even on days that the swell was way to big to go near the water there was a ton of beautiful, calm beaches just around the east side of the island. The house has a great kitchen and ample bedrooms so it's perfect for traveling with a large group. Ahd the kitchen was well appointed and perfect for cooking big family meals. I cannot reccomend highly enough.

Family Vacation of a Lifetime

This house was the setting and foundation of the perfect family vacation; we can't recommend it highly enough. The house is beautiful and live in ready; everything you could need to make a gourmet dinner or pack for a day at the beach is there. I could go on about the house but rest assured it's perfect.

The real key is the Sunset Beach location though. It's within walking distance of the beach, some of the best surfing in the world, Ted's bakery and grocery stores and food trucks. But even more valuable is it's proximity to the northern peak of the island. Depending on the conditions you are always a few minutes drive away from either a beach for the kids or a break for the best surfers. No matter what the weather is doing you're always close to both.

Without a doubt, whenever my family returns to Hawaii, it will be at this property.

Perfect location at Sunset Beach! Ocean views from every room and a massive fenced in yard for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of parking with the beach just steps away. As of February 2015, completely new yard and landscaping, as well as a completely renovated interior and exterior.

Enjoy a drink on the huge lanai while grilling as the sun sets and the kids play on the huge field below.

In addition to the beach, walk to Ted's in a couple of minutes. The bike path is across the street, which leads you all the way to Waimea Bay!

If you want a gated home on well over an acre steps from the beach with lots of privacy and views to enjoy, this is ideal.
