Best Birthday Ever!!!

  • 5 of 5

My guest and I really enjoyed our stay at Kurt's rental. This house is nest in the perfect location in NOLA. We were close to everything, by walking, streetcar, or a short Uber ride. The house accommodated all 11 women for the weekend comfortably. The generosity and consideration from Kurt and Tracy were unmatched. This house supersede what a hotel can offer. We were all pleased and will be using this location or his other two for future stays in NOLA. I highly recommend this house to those that are looking to be close to all NOLA has to offer but far enough that you can sleep at night...LOL. Oh by the way Iggy's (great drinks) is across the street and The Ruby Slipper around the corner (we went twice) were both amazing!!!

It is better then the pictures

  • 5 of 5

The pictures don't do this property justice. Not only is it beautiful inside but the neighborhood is nice too. Don't let the overall outside appearance deter you. Up the street is a really nice wine and spirit store and they have people come cook amazing shrimp burgers also on the opposite end are nice little spots to eat and relax. Also everyone is surprisingly nice and our concierge Tracy was amazing any questions we had she answered quickly. We plan on coming next year and hope to book this same location.

Birthday get away

  • 5 of 5

We had a great visit to New Orleans while staying at this location. The house was close to Bourbon St., we also had 2 quaint little breakfast restaurants right around the corner which worked out great. The area was very safe and accessible for Uber drivers to get in and out of or if you like to walk it was great as well. There is a 24 hour bar across the street for those late nights and couple convenience stores close by to grab snacks and such. We had 12 people in our group and no problems finding space to sleep, the upstairs area is incredibly nice and very well done. The downstairs area is a little funky but fun, you could tell it use to be an old Speak Easy or some type of bar back in the day. Overall great visit and we would definitely stay their again.

Thanks Kurt for the hospitality...

Absolutely perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

This house was just perfect in every aspect. It was exactly as advertised and very well stocked. We had a total of 4 couples travelling together and it worked very well for all of us! Tracy did an amazing job of answering any questions we had and responded immediately. Kudos to Tracy! She even had suggestions for us on our one rainy day. We were able to walk to literally everything we wanted to do...the French Quarter, Frenchman St, Bourbon St, Jackson Square. Plenty of eating places and bars to hop in and out of. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a large home when traveling with lots of friends/family. We really enjoyed the basement (complete with Tiger!).

Gorgeous home, excellent location, wonderful host = TOTAL WIN

  • 5 of 5

A group of women of various ages from all over the country gathered in New Orleans and LOVED this house. This is a true New Orleans house, finished for the comfort of guests. From the incredibly comfortable beds, luxurious finishes, beautiful art, plentiful and feel-just-right towels, yummy bathroom products, well-stocked (spices, pans, bowls, etc.) kitchen, and attention to detail (washer/dryer, iron and board, hair dryers, super helpful information binder, etc.), Kurt has created a house that both honors New Orleans and is wonderful to come home to at the end of a day (and night) enjoying the city. I am a frequent traveler and renter on all the services, and come to New Orleans often, so these details have really come to matter to me over the years.

This is a two-story house which could almost be two separate rentals, and the two floors have different feels. The downstairs feels clubby, and is a great place to congregate for late night karaoke (yes, there's a machine provided--and a full second kitchen, so handy for snacks and such). Upstairs is all high ceilings and elegance. Yes, there are external, fairly steep stairs to get from the street to the upper level and yes, there is a spiral staircase for internal floor-to-floor travel. There are also multiple porches for enjoying the sun, and gorgeous bikes for tooling around. The kitchen is lovely, with everything you'll need if you must cook (although who would miss a meal out?). The location is perfect for access to Frenchmen Street and the Quarter, with great breakfast spots around the corner and an easy Uber to everywhere else. Kurt and Tracy were very responsive, and so accommodating and generous with allowing our local host the opportunity to tour the house in advance to make sure we would fit and set up a little early to make sure we would be comfortable. We loved it and will not hesitate to stay again!
