Mountain Views from house & deck on a secluded 2 acre lot on a quiet cul de sac

Our private, single family, dog friendly home on 2 acres is conveniently located four miles north of Winter Park Ski Area in the Winter Park Ranch Neighborhood of Fraser. It is on the free Winter Park Ski Area bus route. The backyard has a fenced area to keep the dogs in and the moose out. This area is accessible from the main living area, the master bedroom, & the garage.

The three bedrooms include a large Master Suite with a king sized bed, large dual head shower with bench, and two person Jacuzzi tub. The second main floor bedroom includes a queen bed and an adjacent full bath. The third bedroom is very large and is located on the first floor with twin bunk beds, a full-size bed and an adjacent 3/4 bath. The first floor also offers a second living area with sofa, TV, table and two chairs. This makes it a great place for a second family, a multi-generational group or to set-up the kids. It also offers privacy to a potential third couple.

The rear side of the property features a deck facing west with unobstructed views of Byers Peak. Access the deck from the master suite, the dining area, or the garage/fenced portion of the yard. The main living area features a gas fireplace and is open to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is neatly organized and fully furnished with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans you need to cook a gourmet meal. For the coffee aficionados, there is a Starbucks Barista Espresso/Cappuccino maker. A crockpot means you can have dinner waiting after a full day of outdoor fun.

The entire property has radiant floor heating including the oversized two car garage. This is the most comfortable heating system you will encounter. No drafts and warm floors keep your feet toasty all the time. This also means there is no need to cart your gear into the house after a long day of skiing. Boots will dry and be ready to go the next morning for another day on the mountain. Pull right into the heated garage and close out the cold behind you. If you need to tune your skis or have toys like mountain bikes and snow mobiles you can work on them in the cozy garage. The garage has a work area and work bench including a bike stand next to the two car parking. Should Fido need a bath after romping in the woods, hot and cold water are available right in the garage.

The house also features a large laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer.

There is excellent hiking and mountain biking from the front door. A single track connects you to the red gate network of trails to the east or use the trails that meander along the Fraser River to get to town and connect to Winter Park or to the west side of US40 where there is another set of trials near the St. Louis Campground. We've ridden and/or hiked the majority of these trials and would be happy to discuss them with you.

This property allows us to pursue all of our passions like hiking, biking, snowshoeing and skiing. The views provide a great backdrop. The heated garage allows us to separate the skis, bikes and muddy boots from the house. The interior walls were white when we started but we have added our own color palette.

We totally loved it! We did not want to leave! The cabin is very homey!

We loved the setup of the cabin! The living room, kitchen, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and 2 bathrooms upstairs with access to the deck from dining room and master bedroom was awesome! Downstairs was 3rd bathroom, 3rd bathroom, large laundry room, another tv and living area. With an extra large garage! We loved it. The deck was amazing with amazing views of the mountains, Byers Peak! The most beautiful snow covered mountain!!!! It took my breath away! We especially loved the back yard! It is all fenced in, our 2 dogs loved it! The yard has a swing to sit in and stare at the mountains! The owners are amazing! They truly care if things are ok! And that the house is perfect for you! We loved it!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Great house for a family vacation!

Eight of us (plus one dog) spent four days in early July at this property. In a word, "fabulous!" The location was great - wooded and fenced lot, quiet, great view of the mountains to the west. Very large two-car garage and large driveway for multiple cars. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, large laundry room with washer and dryer. The space was large enough for us to eat, play games, and watch TV together, and also split off and spend quiet time apart from the main group.

The fully equipped kitchen (gas range, electric oven, dishwasher, bowls/pots/pans/etc) made cooking meals and cleaning up afterwards as easy as at home - exactly what we were after in a property.

We used the large gas grill on the deck for cooking supper the final evening and with a couple of chairs from the inside, we were able to eat together out on the deck. July 4th Winter Park fireworks viewing tip: park in the lot of the two little ponds next to the Safeway by the highway - great view, no traffic.

Great instructions and directions were provided ahead of our visit, and the owner checked with us during our stay to make sure all was well - much appreciated!

We all had a great time here and with any luck will be able to return one day in the future. Cannot recommend this property highly enough!

We have stayed at this property another time and loved it both times! Everything in the home is top notch, well equipped kitchen (with your choice of a Mr. Coffee, Keurig, or Starbucks Barista!) with anything you could need to cook a meal. Great gas grill outside. The view from the house is beautiful and changes all day long. Great for a family with a dog or 2, they love to play in the fenced in yard. Washer and dryer make packing simple. We had another great time at this home, and will definitely plan another trip back!!

Great Location, Fantastic House, and Wonderful for Fur and Non-Fur Family Members

The house was fantastic! As other reviewers have noted, not only is the house clean and well-maintained and its views amazing, the property itself is in a perfect location to escape up the mountain while still close to activities and the towns of Fraser and Winter Park. The owners are wonderful to communicate with and invested in your, and your furry friends, experience at their house being a success. We are definitely planning a return trip!

Great for dogs, clean and roomy!
