WE NEVER HAD A BAD TRIP, ALWAYS STARTED PLANNING OUR NEXT TRIP BEFORE WE LEFT THE ISLAND. PURCHASED OUR UNIT BECAUSE OF OUR LOVE FOR CAYMAN REEF RESORT. WE HAD STAYED AT OTHER PROPERTIES AND LOOKED AT OTHER PROPERTIES, NONE CAN COMPARE TO CAYMAN REEF RESORT. IT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED ON 7 MILE BEACH. WE ESPECIALLY LOVED THE BEACH. WALK RIGHT IN WITH NO CORAL BLOCKING YOUR PATH. THE PEOPLE AT CAYMAN REEF RESORT ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE GROUNDS ARE KEPT BEAUTIFULLY. WE HAVE ALWAYS MADE NEW FRIENDS AND HAD A GREAT TIME.

THE VIEWS FROM EITHER BALCONY ARE STUNNING. THE BEACH AND THE WATER ARE UNBELIEVABLE. IF YOU ARE TIRED OF GETTING SAND IN YOUR TOES, SPEND THE DAY AT THE COMPLEX POOL OR PLAY TENNIS ON OUR COURT. OF COURSE, YOU CAN STAY RIGHT IN THE CONDO, ON THE BALCONY AND FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ON THE BEACH.

WOW - What a great place!

Just returned on May 6th after a wonderful week with my wife, daughter, and son-in-law. I don't even know where to start. The condo was great and had everything you need. The balconies had a great view of the beach and ocean. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the balcony. The beach has wonderful - fine, soft, white sand and the water is clear. You can walk out into the water with no sudden drop off. The location on the seven mile beach is great. For $2.50 you can take the bus anywhere you want to go. It is a great beach for taking a walk. I could go on and on but I don't want to forget the owners Glen & Gail. We could not ask for better people to work with - very, very nice folks. Charlene, the manager of the resort, was very nice and helpful also. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Grand Cayman. If you go stay in #41. Also, go to sting ray city. We all enjoyed that. I mean how many people have kissed a sting ray?

Perfect!!!

Just returned from staying in this beautiful Unit. Gail and Glen the owners are amazing people, I highly recommend them. View from decks are amazing! Location is perfect, close to everything. Beach is beyond amazing, just like a big bathtub and quiet. The unit has everything you will need even laundry soap!

Met Gail on the beach and had a wonderful visit. She stopped by condo and brought some sweets and then some homemade Biscotti which as to die for. Thank-you Gail and Glenn...We will be back!

Awesome View - Awesome Owners

This is a lovely condo fully equipped with everything you will need. We loved the big screen TV, cable, local and USA free phone calling, the filtered water and ice on the outside of the refrigerator, the comfortable beds, reclining sofa and love seat. The Bosch dishwasher is a plus; the dishes come out sparkling. There are two screened in patios with million dollar views and never a bug or gecko to worry about! What a beautiful view from either of the two patios. You are only a stone's throw to the Caribbean Sea and you can hear the calming waves roll to shore! This condo is well maintained, in a perfect location, and we highly recommend it. What a beautiful white sand beach to enjoy! The owners, Glenn & Gail, are awesome and they bend backwards to make things perfect for their guests. What a treat to find a beautiful welcome bowl on the kitchen table filled just for us to enjoy! If we come back to the Cayman's this is most definitely the place we would want to stay at.

THE ULTIMATE VACATION

How can I describe 5 days of heaven on Cayman Island ? Being our first trip ......and not our last....already booked with Glenn & Gail for 7 days in 2017, we heard a lot of good things from friends that have already done Cayman. From the minute we arrived we knew we made the ultimate vacation choice. This island is unbelievable ! The crystal blue water....the powder sand...swimming...sunning....snorkeling....shopping....great restaurants and on and on. Everyone on the island is friendly and helpful. Now on to Glenn & Gail and their condo #41. Upon arriving to the condo with our 2 sons and doing a walk thru with my wife of the 2 story condo my wife turns to me and asks....if this was ours would you rent this out to people you don't even know? This place is beautiful!.Our boys were on 1 of the 2 balconies taking photos to send to their friends to make them jealous. The views our fantastic. Glenn & Gail....Thank you for sharing your beautiful island home with us. Your help...knowledge and hospitality made our vacation a 10. The complex managers were friendly and very helpful in every way possible. Not to wish our lives away but can't wait for our return vacation!

Bad experience...

I have been renting via VRBO for over 10 years and have never posted a negative review until now. The condo is well appointed, equipped and has a lovely view of the sea. This review stems from our interactions with the owner after we paid. The unit is a 2BR/2BA that also rents as a 1BR/1BA. We rented it as a 1 BR and assumed we would be given the master bedroom with King Bed and adjacent bath. On arrival, we saw those rooms were locked off. We had access to a very small bedroom with Queen Bed and a bath down 14 tiled stairs. I immediately emailed the owner that there must be some misunderstanding. His response was terse: “This is how I rent it. It can’t be changed.” I pointed out to him that he didn’t disclose what the layout would be, even though he knew we were a mature couple. I offered to pay an additional fee for him to open up the master bed and upstairs bath and that we would not use the small bedroom and downstairs bath.

After much argument, he agreed to make an exception for us. I thought the problem was solved. The management company came the next day and opened the master bedroom, but not the bath. I emailed the owner again and told him point blank we didn’t feel safe going up and down the stairs at night to use the bathroom. I also told him my husband was recovering from heart surgery. He called me in the condo yelling that, “You should GET OUT of my condo!!” and, “If your husband can’t handle those stairs you should never have come to Grand Cayman!!” He even threatened me with, “You made a BIG MISTAKE renting my condo!” I asked him how much it would cost to open up the upstairs bath and he said he didn’t know. When I mentioned that there was no hair dryer he yelled, “YES THERE IS! YES THERE IS!” Fortunately, the resort provided a hair dryer.

The resort management volunteered to contact the owner on our behalf. Still we received no call, email nor was the bath unlocked.

There was no reason for this unpleasantness. We offered twice to pay extra for the master bedroom and upstairs bath. I’ve used quotation marks as these are the exact words the owner used in a loud, bullying tone.

A final note: there is a 4-story condo building under construction next door. The noise pollution is significant.
