About the property

Casa Philip, located in the stunning Peninsula Grand Cozumel complex, is beautifully modern, spacious, and luxurious.

Casa Philip, located in the beautiful and exclusive Peninsula Grand community, is one part spacious, one part modern, and every bit luxurious. This first-floor condo is located right on the Caribbean Sea on the North Side of San Miguel, minutes from the airport and the island's only golf course—a championship one at that.

Your fantastic home away from home is a gorgeous three-bedroom, four-bath vacation condo that can provide accommodations for parties of up to six. The spacious and inviting living room open floor plan links the dining room and kitchen--each with epic views of the incredibly blue ocean—so that when you’re preparing a meal for the group, you can also feast your eyes on the water and beach.

The lovely dining room seats up to eight and the décor is somewhat rustic, bold, and modern with dark wood, stainless steel, and colorful accent walls. There is even a separate lounge space with a comfy sofa, which makes for a fantastic play space or quiet nook in which to read or check email.

For your convenience, there’s also a washer and dryer in the residence, so you can keep your clothes and towels clean for the duration of your vacation.

Among the many amazing features of this home is its walk-out balcony. It’s furnished with comfortable chairs and an outdoor dining table with seating for six, so you can gaze out over the azure water, the white-sand beach, and the sparkling community pool below as you enjoy a home-cooked meal or freshly prepared cocktail.

Each of Casa Philip’s four bathrooms has contemporary amenities and  the master bath even comes with a  large Jacuzzi tub—can you imagine relaxing in that after a full day of fun? The home’s three bedrooms offer different bed configurations and layouts to satisfy the most selective of travelers: the master has one king bed (with stunning ocean view and balcony), one bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, and two twin beds are included in the third.

The Peninsula Grand community is renowned for its sleek sophistication and refined elegance. Great care has been taken to ensure that every resident and visitor has unlimited access to a wide range of amenities. The large, heated infinity pool lined with palm trees and cushioned lounge chairs will help you slip into relaxation mode. The pool overlooks a spacious man-made beach just above the ocean, complete with palapas when you need a little break from the sun.

This outdoor oasis also offers a shower and dive/snorkeling gear rinsing area, to keep your equipment clean and ready to go for the next adventure.

If you like to work out, there’s a state-of-the-art fitness center on the premises that you are free to use—you’ll especially appreciate that equipment like treadmills and stationary bikes face the beach and sea, to help make your workout a breeze. Afterward, you can relax those muscles in the sauna or enjoy a massage.

Casa Philip is ideally located too. It's within walking distance of downtown Cozumel, where the waterfront promenade overflows with restaurants, bars, high-end stores, local vendors and artisans, duty-free shops, and tourists from every corner of the globe. This is also where the cruise ships disembark, the ferry boat makes regularly scheduled trips to and from Playa del Carmen, and where you can find any number of dive masters or snorkeling tour guides to arrange a trip.

A trip to the Caribbean is an adventure of a lifetime. Spend it in style at Casa Philip in beautiful Cozumel.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Exquiste appartement with FOUR bathrooms, superb view on the pool and beach. Nice snorkeling right of the beach. Our family of 5 really liked it here. At the end of our yucatan trip this was a nice surprise. A huge apartment even with a dishwasher, so no more rinsing in the sink like the other apartments and a washing machine so all our clothes were even clean when we arrived home. The place is nice and quite out of the bustle of the cruiseliners. We rented a car at hertz which we used to go to the huge mega supermarket to get fresh bread daily. The place even has valet parking. When snorkeling we saw a lot of fish even a school of tiny barracudas and a Murray eel( both not dangerous so don't worry!) On some days the current can be a bit strong, so always stay with your minor kids when they go snorkeling. For this occasion the beach has a set of bouys set up in such a fashion that you can easily hold on to them to enjoy the wildlife. All in all a fantastic place

Great roomy condo with beautiful views of the sunset!

  • 5 of 5

Loved staying here, lots of room, very private and quiet. Pool is lovely and the exercise room was sufficient. Easy to grab a cab to downtown and back. Very clean, loved having a washer and dryer right in our room. We used the grocery service to stock our fridge before our arrival and made a few trips to Mega to grab other things. We would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves.

Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

The condominium very much exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Especially the deck.

The deck is huge and runs the fill length of the condominium. Each Bedroom and the main living room all have large slider doors out to the deck and the view. If you looked at pictures from the beach up to the condominium, you would think the sliders and deck are two or more units but it is not… It is all one unit.. Only 4 units in total have such deck and all are on floor 1. The other units may have same floor plan but not the decks… We loved being on first floor which really is the 2nd floor. Don’t be turned off by the unit being on first floor. It is high enough up to have plenty of privacy and great view.

Interior of unit is very big with 4 full baths. 3 large screen TV with satellite, internet etc. Unit was modern and clean. However, only point to the negative and this is very minor is it is on the verge of being ready for some overhaul. Some things seem to be on their last leg. That is common in Mexico in our opinion. This would not distract us from coming back to this unit however.

One thing that isn’t made real clear in description which most would enjoy is the “CHEF” There is an onsite restaurant or beach café open 11Am to 7PM. It is run by one person a “chef” not a “cook”. He has a small menu of basic items but his real value is he will make anything you want with a days’ notice. Lobster, fajitas, octopus etc.. You just tell him what you want and he buys it at market and cooks it for you when you are ready and the cost is very reasonable. Much less than the restaurants in town. Quality was first class.

This unit is in the north hotel zone which we were not sure about at first being with 2 teenage kids because that area is quieter. However, we ended up liking it much better. There are things going on but without the hustle of cruise ships and people parting down the street all day and night or street vendors running you down. There is a great walking path from end of island all the way into town. Runs in front of all the condos and hotels in the north area.

The complex is great overall clean, Great pool good sandy beach and easy access snorkeling. Beware of current. When we were here the weather and wind was pretty bad making the entry into water a bit tricky but doable. Once in water the water was clear and good snorkeling even with the bad weather.

We will stay here again.

Best condo I've ever stayed in

  • 5 of 5

Wow, this place was an awesome find. Will definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family. Very clean, had all the necessary cooking accessories needed, spacious, and homey. Not to mention quite the view! The beach is lovely, but getting into the water is tricky with the Rocky shoreline. Once you're in, the snorkeling in front of the condo is some of the best we found. I definitely recommend getting a car, you're a little far from town and having the car gives you the option to go wherever you want whenever you want. This place is also far from the dreaded cruise ships and tourists! Very quiet and the perfect place to recharge!!! My only complaint is, that although the beds are very comfortable, the pillows were a little lumpy and the evening Sun is very hot and sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset is tough. An umbrella to create some shade on the balcony might be nice. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful and the small but adequate gym has a beautiful view of the water!

It was wonderful.

It was wonderful. We really enjoyed the laid back quiet atmosphere. The other condo owners were really nice and made us feel welcome even though we were renters.

Great girls' weekend retreat

  • 4 of 5

Spacious condo with a great view and a good location. Definitely needed a car to get around with 5 of us, but it was easy to get into town. Other than a few issues with the AC splits, the condo was very comfortable. We were able to spread out and had plenty of bathroom space for all the girls to get ready at the same time! The pool was lovely and quiet most of the time.
