About Adam Boushie

My wife and I have have two children, a 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. We live in Westminster, CO, which is about 1 1/2 hours from our home in Winter Park. We moved to Colorado about 9-years ago and love it! I'm originally from the mid-west and my wife moved to the United States from Romania when she was a child. We enjoy traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. Our goal is to raise our children with a well-rounded global perspective.

Adam Boushie purchased this house in 2014

Why Adam Boushie chose Winter Park

We just purchased this home in July 2014. We've been to Winter Park many times and really enjoy the environment and variety of fun things to do as a family. Our children have spent their entire lives living in a suburban environment. We wanted to offer them something on the opposite end of the spectrum. I wanted my kids to experience skiing, hiking, fishing, golfing, mountain biking, boating, exploring nature, horse back riding, and snowmobiling! Winter Park provides all of this. We chose our home because it is so warm and comfortable. It suited our family just perfectly. We are a short walk to downtown and the national forest and just a few minute drive to the resort.

Our hope is that your family will enjoy our home as much a we do!

What makes this house unique

Our home is cozy and comfortable...a place to celebrate as a family. We love the open floor plan, the wooded 1/2 acre property, 360 degree wrap around deck, and amazing views of Winter Park resort. Our home is in the center of where it's all happening!

A great experience

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We did not meet the owners, but they were friendly and responsive by email. The house was clean and comfortable, with lovely decor. The views from all sides were spectacular. We would definitely recommend this property.

Nice place to stay.

  • 4 of 5

We stayed a week and enjoyed it very much. The location was easy to get to and the bus stop is just across the road. Perfect for skiers headed to the slopes. There was enough space for everyone in the family.

A great getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family (9 people ranging from ages 2 to 82) had a summer vacation in this Winter Park home. It was a fantastic base for us to explore and enjoy the area. With living space and bedrooms upstairs and down there was space for us to spend time together without feeling cramped. A grocery store only 10 minutes away, Winter Park resort has lots to do, and we were easy day trips to places like Rocky Mountain National Park and Mt Evans. Adam was easy to deal with and seemed ready and willing to answer any questions during our visit, though none came up. All-in-all a great experience.

Spacious inviting home close to Winter Park ski area

  • 4 of 5

The home is very large in a lovely neighborhood. There is plenty of room for a large family. The dining room table (with leaves) sat 11 people. The house had everything you will need for your stay. The kitchen was especially well stocked. The ski resort is just a short drive away. The lift (bus service) picks you up right in front of the house (very convenient). The snow plows are great and keep the snow plowed constantly. I recommend Carvers restaurant for breakfast and Hernando's Pizza Pub for dinner. Be aware that the master bedroom is right off the kitchen/family room so you hear people talking and dishes clanking and the master bedroom curtains are quite thin. I suggest ear plugs and a sleeping mask. Those were my only complaints. I highly recommend this VRBO for your vacation in Winter Park. The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have.

Better than hotels

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time doing a rental home. As soon as we got to the property, we felt very welcome. The quality of the home interior and exterior was so amazing that we couldn't help but to treat it as delicately as we could. The beds are so comfortable that you feel like you are sleeping on clouds with a beautiful sky view of the stars at night. The fall season in the morning, you wake up to a beautiful mountain scene with beautiful trees changing colors. The living area was cozy where my old man and I can cuddle comfortably while the children occupied themselves with toys, books and other entertaining things that was set up. The balcony allows the children to explore safely of the different views of scenery from all different angles of the home days and nights.

The main street is a walkable mile down the road with a park, bar, general store and restaurants at the end. The scene is so beautiful going down and from the main street with bench seats along the way that you wouldn't want to drive. There were many trails and the Arapahoe National Forest was just a few mile away where you can take your family hiking. The location of the rental home is perfect so you can get away from the city or in general.

The owner did an amazing job with this property and I have the up most respect for them. They are prompt to respond with any questions or concerns and prepare you in advance for the arrival and departure instructions. This home is set and stocked up to where you have no worries in the world.

I would recommend anyone to this property because it's better than any 5 stars hotels.

Your visit and time here will be priceless and a memory you cannot forget.

I truly hope anyone that stays here will enjoy and have a memorable experience as my family did.

Best Place We have Ever stayed in Colorado

  • 5 of 5

Delivered what it promises and more. This place was just perfect. All beds, furniture and kitchen was amazing. Totally up to date. Great room for 2 full families and grandma. Top Notch and great WiFi so I could still stay connected even in the mountains. Right out side our door we could get picked up for skiing every 30 minutes and a very short ride to the lifts. You actually felt like it was not even in the city of winter park and on top of your own mountain.... but just a 2 minute drive away you were by the great shops and food. Found an amazing bakery just 4 minutes away and we brought in breakfast in the morning. Owners are amazing and made everything so comfortable for us.
