The private, swim able beach at Cabo Bello is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive from the house, and is in a protected cove, which makes it perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing on the beach. And you'll never encounter beach vendors here like you will on the tourist filled Medano beach.
Several fine restaurants and a mini mart are within walking distance of the casa, and we are a 2 minute walk to the bus stop to downtown Cabo San Lucas, which cost less then a dollar to take into town.
Costco and Santa Carmella Markets are less than a mile away, as well as City Club and Wal-Mart within 5 miles.
House made available through our non profit organization called Hope for Los Cabos enabling us to keep our prices low. All bookings are considered donations to the ministry and after expenses are paid it helps in our ministry of helping the poor and disadvantaged in the Los Cabos area. If while you are here in Cabo you have the desire to visit the barrios and volunteer your time helping feed the kids, let us know and we will organize a time that works with your schedule.
We have an SUV available for rent during your visit that seats up to 9 people. Rates are $75 per day, prices include full coverage insurance. Paid in cash. The car can be rented on a weekly basis for $450 for the week, bringing the daily rate average down to $65 a day.

We also have snorkel gear and a two man kayak you are welcome to use free of charge and a fishing boat you can charter for sight seeing, snorkel trips, whale watching and fishing!!
We offer round trip transportation to the airport for a flat $70 for up to six people and luggage. All other transportation companies charge $80 for four plus another $20 per person after that. We also offer transportation service to and from downtown Cabo for $5 a person (with advance notice upon availability).
We have been visiting Cabo San Lucas since our honeymoon 28 years ago! We now live in Cabo San Lucas and help provide for the needs of the many thousands of extremely poor people living in the barrios as well as men in drug and alcohol rehab. We have a passion for Cabo and the special people who live here.
You will love the location of this home and the nice yard with a pool and the private beach for the community!

We just spent a fabulous week at Jen and Dave's place in Cabo Bello! The house was huge and had enough space so that our two teens each had a room of their own and could have their own area downstairs, and my husband and I had our room upstairs, and had some alone time when we all needed it. The private pool was a real positive as our kids could go on their own anytime they wanted and we could keep an eye on them while we were relaxing indoors. The location was perfect, as we had a car and could zip to Cabo (cheap & safe parking at the marina there), Costo is 5 minutes, and Santa Maria Beach is a 10 minute drive, with some of the best snorkeling. One day for some adventure we drove to Todos Santo for lunch, had a drink at the "Hotel California", and saw many raptors and even a cara-cara and watched the sunset over the saguaro's on the drive home. The house has all the amentities for a family who loves to cook, even a gas BBQ we used a couple nights and the private beach there is perfect for families that don't have a car and the snorkeling is nice there too! Jen and Dave were great hosts and gave us tips on parking, shopping, and anything else we needed. They also organized a half-day fishing trip for us, and that was fun getting out on the water- we saw three humpbacks and caught a trigger fish! I would definitely return to this home with my family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this great condo just outside of Cabo. We had 7 people in our party, 4 adults and 3 young children. The accommodations worked perfectly for us. Jen and Dave went way beyond the call of duty in helping us with any questions we had or info we needed. Since it was our first visit to Cabo, it made all the difference to know that if we needed anything, they were there to help. Cabo is truly blessed to have such a wonderful family serving them!
We highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a fun get away and a great place to stay!
We enjoyed our week long stay in March 2016 for our Spring Break. We had a total of 7. 3 adults and 4 children. The home was very accommodating with 3 separate bathrooms for each bedroom. We enjoyed having a semi private pool. If you are not comfortable with a dog coming out to the pool or into the house when your out, the owners will graciously put their pet up, we had a small child 2 years old so this could've been an issue for us. The home is located in a very safe gated community and we always felt safe, the location was perfect to walk down to a private beach. We never swam at this beach due to the fact it is very rocky but it made for beautiful runs and walks! We rented a van at the airport and loved having the flexibility to go down to the Marina for lunches, dinner and shopping the location of the house was close enough but also far enough from the noise downtown. This was our first time in Cabo and Jen and Dave and their son were very hospitable with helping us with excursions such as fishing and surfing. Our kids took lessons with their son and we rented the boat they own to fish and see the Arch this was extremely convenient. They were very helpful with letting us borrow beach chairs and provided beach toys etc... This was also our first time using homeaway to book a house so be prepared to wait on receiving your deposit back it was almost 2 months from our stay We never doubted they would send it just want to let renters know it can take a little while. Cabo Bello is a great secure neighborhood in a great location and the managers of the Casa De Esperanza VRBO, the very friendly Limpert family, live right next door! The Limpert family are missionaries in Cabo and the best part about staying here is that it benefits their mission to serve the poor of Cabo and serve through ministries of Cabo Church. We stayed here for two weeks and were able to feed the kids several times in various barrios/colonias of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo via Feeding Los Cabos Kids charitable organization. Jen Limpert also arranged a day for us to paint the inside of a church in a poor area of Cabo. They also have a fishing boat ministry that benefits the poor in Cabo and any fish you catch you can donate to feed the kids in the barrios. We went fishing twice and Captain Eddie is awesome! In regards to the house: the kitchen is small but well-equipped; the eating area and living room are nice (but there is only seating for four at the round table and a couch, loveseat and chair provide seating for only six) -we cooked most of our meals here and ate outside on the pool level most of the time except for the day of the hurricane/tropical storm; both charcoal and gas BBQ's are available; the semi-private pool with a fountain is very refreshing and relaxing (shared with the Limpert family); the private swimmable beach is a 5-minute walk away; wonderful views of the ocean, sunsets and Los Arcos from the second floor; handy to have a washer and dryer; each bedroom has its own bathroom; the internet and Netflix connections are very limited/spotty; great to rent a suburban for two weeks from the Limpert family and easy to get around. We stayed there with two families of four with each couple having their own spacious bedroom and the kids (ages 11-14) shared a room -two sleeping on air mattresses. The steep stairs are not recommended for young children and, unless you have kids that don't mind sleeping on air mattresses, there are only beds for 6 people. It's about a 10 minute easy drive to the marina and downtown. Costco is about a mile away and Wal-Mart is about 3 miles away (although we prefer Mega over Wal-Mart, but not as convenient). We used Cielito Lindo for round trip transportation from/to the airport for $159 (plus tip) round trip for 4 people -very friendly and helpful driver. Bus transportation is accessible if you don't have a car, but with 8 people we never used the bus.
My wife and I would echo all the prior feedback, which was spot on! The housing accommodations and amenities were wonderful, access to the beach offered some cool tide pools for snorkeling, and provided close proximity from the airport and to the town while secluded from the hustle and bustle of a tourist city. The owners are immensely gracious hosts and have built an incredible ecosystem of service to support the community; in fact, a day-trip deep sea fishing on their boat yielded a marlin to help stock the local kitchen ministries! Their golf and restaurant recommendations enhanced our vacation experience and we can't wait to get back and share this gem with other friends and family to further explore the region.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to have a semi-private pool that we could visit any time and not worry about others, seats etc. Toys and floats were provided for our entertainment. We also enjoyed the beautiful beach, a short walk away. Our host and hostess were very helpful. I was really nice to visit their charity and to know that we were partially supporting it.
