3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, log cabin with mountain views
This custom, hand hewn log home boasts amazing mountain views, spectacular sunrises, unforgettable sunsets and abundant wildlife viewing. A unique home with artistic touches throughout, this is a quiet, upscale retreat.
Located 90 miles from Seattle between Cle Elum and Ellensburg, the cabin is located on 3 private acres only 20 minutes from the summit of Blewett Pass and 45 minutes from Snoqualmie.
It's two bedrooms and loft can very comfortably accommodate six. The master bedroom, situated in the loft, allows views of the sunrise and sunset and the stars at night.
The cabin features a gourmet kitchen stocked with essential cooking supplies, dishes, cutlery and cookware, centered around a generous kitchen island.
You will not find a TV here, but there's plenty of entertainment. On calm nights enjoy the backyard fire pit. A cozy reading nook offers a collection of books and views down the valley. Or simply look out the windows for abundant wildlife (wild turkeys, deer, elk--there's even been a bobcat sighting!) and drink in the view from the couch. Stocked with games and a whole house music system, the cabin offers hours of entertainment unto itself.
For the more adventurous, there's nearby hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fly fishing. Use guidebooks at the cabin to plan your hike into the Wenatchee National Forest or The Enchantments Wilderness Area--we have recommendations for easy walks through the forest and challenging treks to the tops of ridges and mountains.
With access just six miles from the cabin, the Blue Ribbon Yakima River holds rainbow and cutthroat trout for the fly fisher. We can recommend talented local guides to row you down the river and help you find fish. Our neighbors at Flying Horseshoe Ranch would love to show you the Teanaway on horseback and have mounts for every level of experience. The Yakima Valley appellation boasts dozens of wineries. Taste to discover your favorite. The Bavarian-themed village of Leavenworth is over Blewett Pass and within an hour you can explore its shops and fun activities.

About Melissa M.
We are northwest natives who enjoy the outdoors and all the activities this area has to offer. As a family of four and a extended family of many more, we often vacation in the east side of our state and enjoy the differing landscape and climate. Our cabin provides a welcome break and allows us to slow down and relax. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do!

Why Melissa M. chose Cle Elum
We love that the property feels like a great getaway but is still within an hour and a half of the Seattle area. It is also close to amenities and activities.

It is awesome
It is perfect.
This cabin is a great place for a peaceful retreat.
Our family stayed at this cabin for a few days in June, then recently returned for a full week. The cabin is clean, spacious, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The cabin is also very private with a beautiful 360 degree view. The kitchen is well stocked with condiments, spices and all appliances you would need. Though the cabin is in a sparsely populated area, there is easy access to two major highways. Also, the owners are very good to work with. We highly recommend this cabin.
My husband and I were looking for someplace special to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This home was perfect! Quiet, fairly secluded, beautiful scenery with silhouette sunsets. We treasure the time spent alone together reminiscing about our action packed, surprise filled, blessed years of marriage together and began looking toward the empty nest that is looming around the corner. This beautiful cabin was the exact place to do that. It had everything we needed and more. This log home just wraps you up in its charm and the hectic stress of the world just slipped away and we could enjoy each other without interruption. Thank you for sharing this magnificent getaway!
So happy to hear you enjoyed the cabin! We also find it to be a great place to de-stress :)
Gorgeous stay in the mountains
I was here with a group for a wedding, and we had a wonderful stay in this cabin! The views are to die for; I was lucky enough to stay in the lofted room, and the view was breathtaking. It was a very comfortable stay for 6 people. The wedding venue was a mile down the road so it was a perfect location for us, but the closest town is about 20 or so minutes away so this is definitely a place for a more low key stay as opposed to an action packed vacation. I would also recommend doing some grocery shopping before you make your way to the house as driving to Cle Elum for coffee and breakfast each morning was not ideal. That said, if you're up for a little bit of a drive, there's plenty to do in the area. Not only was this place beautiful, but it was so affordable and Melissa was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend!
Serene, beautiful location
Warm and cozy. Every amenity you could ask for!! Nice kitchen with beautiful large center island. Stayed with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and 10 yr. old grandson. Love sitting outside and braving the fierce wind that seemed to follow us. Definitely would highly recommend! Thank you!!
Thank you Russell. Come back if you are ever in the area again. The winds are almost constant in the spring/early summer but we enjoy it.
