Guestbook comments from the owner

This apartment was well centered as we could walk almost anywhere. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with all the necessities and then some! Carole has outdone herself with helps and recommendations -and she took care of all the drivers and tours. It was like our very own concierge in Greece!

Thank you Carole for your hospitality!

Amazing Athens!

  • 5 of 5

While a great apartment with everything as promised and more, the best part was the service offered by Carol and her team. It started when our flight was delayed (the day of!) and we missed the connection and came in 8 hours later than expected. We wrote to Carol and she said no problem everything will be taken care of. Sure enough when we got out of baggage after midnight(!) there was Niko waiting for us, and when we got to the apartment Nadia was there to explain everything to us. Carol continued to be responsive throughout our stay. Fully furnished and well stocked with everything and plenty of room for everyone. AMAZING! roof deck with views. 2 minute walk to grocery, bakery, coffee, pharmacy, etc. Don't miss the amazing farmers market if you are there on Tuesday! Easy access to all sites. taxi stand outside the door and we went everywhere for around E5. Don't book anywhere else until you check availability on this apartment!

Lovely, Clean, Modern Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Carol was great from our planning stage to our final drive to the cruise ship. . She sent me various information that was priceless! She arranged for our airport pickup, breakfast, and tour guides. Our tour guide for the Acropolis and various other sites was Maria. She was young, energetic, and very knowledgeable. I am very picky about my tour guides and she was a 5 star. We also had Nico, he was a tour guide as well as a driver. I cannot say enough good things about these two people. I would ask for them!!

The Apartment was perfect for 3 women. It was in a safe neighborhood that had everything you need, from groceries, clothes, restaurants, pharmacy, and coffee shops.

Our only complaint was not enough toilet paper and the stand up shower needed some kind of shelf. (both minor inconveniences)

The air conditioners worked great, which was needed. The balcony and roof terrace were amazing. Bring earplugs, because you are in a city, and if you are in the front bedroom, there is noise. A price to pay for location.

I would highly recommend this property for all the reasons you rent an apartment. Location, utilitzation of area, conveniences in the apartment and outside of it.

A great location. Appreciated the attention to detail.

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in the Acropolis View Beta Apartment, as a family of five adults.

The bedrooms were a reasonable size. One has no windows, but the other two open on to a small shared balcony and one onto a private balcony. Given the 37C days that we experienced, mostly we needed the air con on and doors closed but the apartment does have a good through breeze, with doors open. The apartment was very clean and very quiet with the doors closed.

The beds were on the firm side for us, but I know that we like them softer than most.

One bathroom has a shower over the bath and toilet, the other shower and toilet. Bathroom toiletries were supplied and appreciated.

The kitchen had everything, that you could ask for, including good knifes, salt, pepper and a few basics, such as oil in the cupboard.

A welcome basket, was indeed welcome,as we arrived, late at night. It also included a bottle of wine.

The living area is small, but adequate for 5. Other than the heat of the summer, the outside area could be used.

We also found a box, containing maps and tourist info. They was helpful. There is a safe.

We used the upstairs terrace area on two evenings. It is a shared area, but we were the only ones there, enjoying our wine, while the sun set. The view is beautiful and a nice way to end the day. Yes, it is through 4 doors and up a level, but is well worth the effort.

We did choose to prepay breakfast, which we enjoyed in the apartment. I knew that it was an expensive option given the apartment is surrounded by cafés, but we were in Athens to catch up with family and it was easy and enjoyable to linger before heading out. The amount of pastries, fruit, juice and cheeses would have fed 12 people rather than 5. Half the price and half the quantities, would be a suggestion.

We used Nick's taxi for the airport pick up. Only a little more than a standard taxi and Nick was great. We had arrived on two flights and one was 21/2 hours late, so Nick kindly changed to a smaller taxi, dropped us at the apartment and went back to the airport for the 2 nd pickup at no extra charge. We used Nikos to get back to the airport at the end of our stay as well.

Carole was great to deal with and prompt with replies. We were concerned about the fires and protests in Athens, but had no issues at all in the city.

We will stay at this apartment on our next visit to Athens.

Great Apartment, Great Experience.

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful apartment. It is in great condition and is very well kept. Nadia the resident manager is very nice and helpful. She took us on a Foddie tour and it was great but because we have to eat gluten free we were unable to partake in some of the cuisine :( The rooftop patio that we shared was amazing and we would eat out there at night and see the sunset beside the Acropolis. You can conceivably walk to everything but it is a decent walk to get there. If you have mobility issues you will need to take a taxi. The neighbourhood the apartment is in provides a great Athenian experience as it is far enough away from the crowds. The only negative is the one bedroom can be a little loud at night and in the morning with honking horns as it closer to the main road. Other than that you cannot go wrong with this apartment. Carole and Nadia are both very professional and take very good care of you from start to finish. I highly recommend this property for people looking to live among the locals for a while, enjoy walking and sightseeing and love watching a gorgeous sunset on a rooftop patio.

Excellent stay, great location, great attention to detail on arrival package

  • 5 of 5

The location was great! And the foodie tour was actually the best choice for us to start our short stay in wonderful Athens - great introduction to Greece and the city. Restaurant suggestions were extremely helpful - some were hard to find - the ones we did find were spot on yummy! Easy walking distance to Plaka, Acropolis, etc - makes you feel like a local. Would highly recommend staying at one of these apartments. And the tour with Nick was well worth it - such a nice guy and helped us navigate the postal world trying to send a package back home. And Nick (of Nick 1 & 2) - very professional and courteous when we were picked up on arrival to Athens.
