2 Bedroom Cottage With Incredible Mountain And Lake Views.

These delightful and detached cottages comfortably sleep 4-5 people with a maximum of 7. They each have two roomy bedrooms, with a queen bed and closet space. The cottages have a private bath with shower and tub. They feature a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor deck with gas grill (propane included). The living room includes a fireplace, a convertible queen sofa sleeper, A/C, Wi-Fi and satellite TV. and shared laundry in our Kiosk. Because the view is a destination all its own, every room at the Cottages at Glacier has deck access and windows facing Glacier Park and St. Mary Lake. Owned and managed by the family that founded the St. Mary Village, The Cottages at Glacier are a cut above when it comes to visiting Glacier National Park in style and comfort.

About Sally Welder

Terry and I met at St. Mary in Glacier Park. I am the youngest daughter of the Black family that founded St. Mary Lodge and Resort. Terry came as a guest of my brother, Lucky, and immediately felt at home in Glacier Park and the St. Mary valley. We celebrated our wedding at the St. Mary Lodge and said our vows on the St. Mary River 40 years ago. Our love for and connection to St. Mary runs deep.

We know the hiking and camping well in and around Glacier and will be happy to suggest some of our favorite trails to guests. If you are in search of a great place to fish, a fantastic day hike with astonishing views, or even the best huckleberry patch around, We will be glad to share our favorite spots.

Absolutely beautiful!

Amazing views, great location, wonderful host, wouldn’t change a thing. We stayed in 4 different places near Yellowstone and Glacier on our trip and this was by far the best.

Fantastic location and beautifulproperty

These cottages have a fabulous location - right across the street from the east entrance to Glacier at St Mary’s. The entrances to Many Glacier and a Two Medicine are just down the road too so it was extremely convenient. The view of the mountains from our balcony was breathtaking, and the cottages were extremely nice. We drove thru the park one day to the west entrance, and were really glad that we stayed on the east side instead. The scenery seemed more beautiful on that side as soon as we entered the park. The cottages had everything we needed (including bear spray), were really nicely decorated, and Sally and a Terry made us feel right at home. Would definitely go back to the Cottages at a Glacier again.

What an amazing place!

We loved everything about this property! The location cannot be beat if staying in East Glacier and the managers were fabulous the whole time. They made you feel like you were truly a guest at their home. The cabin had the most amazing views and the property was neat and super clean. Loved have the laundry facility within walking distance to the cabin. There is no better place to stay while visiting GNP!

Pretty, convenient location

Our stay at the Cottage in St Mary was great overall. The location was convenient and beautiful, and we were given detailed instructions in advance on how to find it, which helps in an area with spotty reception. Some things we loved: proximity to GNP, food and supplies, view of St Mary Lake and the mountains (when it wasn't smoky from nearby fires!), cabin layout, blackout shades in the bedrooms, unadjoined to other cabins. We would have loved a hamper or something to collect and transport laundry to the laundry kiosk, as well as some accoutrements for our coffee that first morning, and we could have done without the terrible karaoke singers at the bar down the hill, but all in all it was a great experience. :)
