About the property

Copper Springs at Copper Mountain is loaded with amenities and is the perfect location for your next ski getaway. Situated in the East Village of Copper Mountain, Copper Springs sits next to the Super Bee base area. It's a short 50 yard walk to get on the 6 person lift that will have you at the top of the mountain in a couple minutes. Your stay at Copper Springs comes complete with one spot in the underground parking garage, ski locker to store your gear on the first floor, second floor exercise room and pool table, 3 common outdoor hot tubs and a sauna, and shuttle service right in front of the building.

Unit 415 is a well done 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo complete with full kitchen, gas fireplace, large flat screen TV in the living room and complimentary WIFI in room. The property is top floor and features vaulted ceilings as well as granite countertops throughout. Bedding in the condo goes King bed in the master bedroom, Queen sized custom log bunk bed in the second bedroom and additional Queen size sofa sleeper in the living area. Common laundry facilities are located a few doors down. The Copper Coach is also available, just call and they will pick you up at the front door and wisk you down to Center Village, Union Creek or anywhere else at Copper you'd like to go, and return you right back to your front door. The Copper Mtn shuttle also picks you up right in front of Copper Springs as it makes it's rounds throughout Copper. The Summit Stage, the free county wide bus service, also stops at Copper Springs and will take you to Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne or Keystone if you wish.

Be the first one on the lift on that powder day morning, sleep in and still make it on the lifts before all those poor souls that drove up for the day, take a break and go back to your unit for lunch, or hit up the bars and restaurants in the base area at the end of your ski day knowing you only have to walk across the street when it's time to go home, these are only some of the advantages to staying on-mountain for your next ski vacation.

Spring Break 2017

  • 4 of 5

I appreciated that the rental was not restricted to a 4-night stay, which many places required and would not have worked with our family. The location was perfect and picking-up and dropping-off keys was easy and straight forward. There were a couple of minor items that needed maintenance with the unit - which I noted on the check-in sheet, but did not hinder our stay. Please consider getting new pillows, though, as the ones in the unit were very uncomfortable.

Copper Springs Condo

  • 3 of 5

We were surprised and disappointed in the condition of the condo upon our arrival. Although nothing major, it is the "little" things that can be aggravating. The toilet seat in the master bath was loose and about to fall off, the batteries in the guest room TV remote were dead disappointing our grandsons, the electrical outlets near the stove had tripped and were not working, the tea kettle handle was broken which was certainly a surprise the first time we went to make tea. It was obvious the attention paid to the before move in inspection, if there was even one done, was not thorough. Our family loves Copper Mountain and we come back frequently, but not to this location again.

Owner's Response: Hi Tom, Thank you for your review of the Copper Springs condo that you stayed in over the holidays. We apologize for the problems you experienced during your stay and, to be fair, we would like to point out that while there were a few "little" things that weren't correct when you arrived, there were many, many other aspects to the condo that were correct for your stay: 1. The condo was as advertised and contained everything you needed for your stay. 2. The condo was clean and in good shape. 3. All the appliances in the kitchen, large and small were in good working order. 4. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook, eat and clean. 5. The baths were fully functioning and in good working order. 6. The furnishings were complete, in good condition and in good working order. 7. The electronics (with the exception of a TV remote) were complete with a TV in the living area and both bedrooms and everything was in good working order. 8. The condo has a balcony complete with gas grill, also in good working order. 9. The Copper Springs building comes complete with lobby, pool table, fitness room, ski lockers, common laundry and elevators. All of those things were available and in good working order. 10. The building also has a parking garage underneath which was available and in good working order. 11. The building has 3 outdoor common area hot tubs that were available and in good working order. We also think that it is important to note a few things about inspection and maintenance. First, we give an inspection form to each guest that checks in with us, asking our guests to note any problems with the condo during their stay so that we can take care of them for future guests. If previous guests don't bring these items to our attention (or don't see them as problems), it makes it more difficult for us to take care of them. Second, we did receive your inspection form after you departed and we have purchased a new tea kettle, checked the electrical breakers, tightened the toilet seat and purchased a new remote for the TV. Last, we would have greatly appreciated a phone call during your stay to bring these items to our attention when they were a problem for you, rather than after you departed when we don't have the chance to do anything about it for you. We want all of our guests to have the best time possible while staying with us. Thanks, John Forest
