About Seventeen The Town House
Welcome to 17 The Town House. We have been visiting our family & friends in Bath for over 20 years and decided that this beautiful city was the perfect place to purchase a home in the UK to base ourselves from for our holidays and weekends away. We're a family of four with two 10 year old children so Bath & its region provide many exciting holiday activities for all of us. Museums, Theatre, history, culture, boutique shopping, Bath Thermae Spa, National Trust houses, nearby beaches, Tree museums, Canal walks and cycles... The list is endless. We love visiting family in the nearby Cotswolds and enjoy taking longer road trips further south to Devon and Cornwall using Bath as a base to return to.

Why Seventeen The Town House chose Bath
This property will suit guests who enjoy boutique style accommodation, a "special place to stay" something more than home from home. We provide all our guests with concierge and all the luxuries of a very well appointed house in the centre of Bath for between 2 to 7 guests. The property is just 10-15 minutes walk away from all the main historic attractions in the centre of Bath as well as the abundance of boutique shopping, bars and fantastic restaurants. We are able to organise transfers from any UK airport for International Travellers and this year have welcomed guests from Australia, New York, Boston, Germany and Singapore. We can organise private chefs to cook for any budget in Seventeen The Town House and we also offer a grocery service so that the house is stocked with what you need for your arrival.

Fab family get together!
Fantastic accommodation for six adults to explore wonderful Bath. The property has lots of character but suited us perfectly. Our 2 cars were parked safely then did everything else on foot. You need to be fairly fit for the steep hills but other an excellent location. We would recommend this accommodation to our friends.
Easter get away
The Georgian house was decorated and the facilities were exceptionally high. It would certainly be a place we would revisit, excellent value for money

Gorgeous Georgian home
Beautiful house with lots of small, luxurious touches that make you feel instantly on holiday. Lovely garden, lots of games, and a summer house if you want to escape the crowds. Easy to walk into Bath (there is also a bus). Victoria was a very attentive and helpful host, even texting me with local playgrounds at very short notice. Will be happy to return.
Many thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review of your stay. So pleased you loved the house and all our special touches for guests. Look forward to welcoming you back soon!
I enjoyed a lovely weekend stay as part of a group of four friends. The property is well located within walking distance of all the main attractions in the city centre. The house is a comfortable home from home and is beautifully decorated as well as being well equipped with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and recommended some great places to eat. I would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.
Many thanks for your kind review of our boutique place to stay in Bath. So pleased you all had a wonderful stay, loved the house and our recommendations! We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!
Great location and all round comfort
My friends and I shared a extremely easy and comfortable stay. The house is very attractive and generously equipped. The beds are all sumptuous and the downstairs shower room is worth seeing, even if you are sleeping upstairs next to the other bathroom. We loved the outside terrace which was a perfect place to talk and eat in the evening.
Thank-you so much for your lovely review especially about our sumptuous beds and rain shower room! We were delighted to be able to welcome you all for your reunion to Seventeen The Town House and very pleased you loved it! Look forward to welcoming you back for your next gathering, enjoy the sunshine!
A beautiful memory making property.
Seventeen the Town House was beautifully decorated and furnished, making my 40th and my Mum’s 60th Birthday celebrations some that we will be talking about for years. The house was equipped with every thing we needed from the beautiful complementary toiletries to the tradition game of Monoply to all the kitchen equipment we needed. My only disappointment was the fact that we only had 3 nights. Will defiantly be taking others back to share the experience.
Thank-you so much for your lovely review! We were delighted to be able to welcome you to share your special times & celebrations together. Very much looking forward to welcoming you back again soon! Enjoy the sunshine!
Whilst the house is in the city centre of Bath, it is also nearby many small convenient shops and cafes in Larkhall, a ten minute walk away if you prefer not to head into Bath. In Larkhall you will find a well stocked Co-Op, local Butchers, Ma Cuisine a french home cooked gourmet frozen meal supplier with a small cafe, green grocer, a couple of cafes, a grogeous deli who kept me supplied with their great baguettes and flapjacks, a pharmacy and last but not least Langridges a brilliant hardware store who have helped me no end with our house!
if you prefer a larger supermarket you can hop onto a bus or into the car and head to Waitrose in the centre of town at the Podium car park. The bus stop is a short 2 minute walk along Camden Road, buses heading into the centre every 15 minutes.
