Beautiful Grade II listed, stone barn with heaps of character. Barn End has everything you could possibly need for a cosy, secluded, rural holiday. Wooden beams & vaulted ceiling in the large kitchen/living area. Large wood burner and central heating. Private hot tub. One double, one twin and one small single bedroom.
Whilst we aren't able to offer it all year round, during the late Autumn & Winter months, we can offer long week end breaks, please contact us should this be of interest.
In Barn End you have a great storage/games area with snooker/pool table, table football & dart board, plus outside we have Swingball, swings for small people and a large Jenga. Portable gas bbq. The garden to the front has a swing seat and an outside dining area. The courtyard to the rear is where the hot tub hides, lit by solar fairy lights with astro turf leading the way. Additional seating area. Off road parking for one car plus more available. Low light pollution gives way to stunning night skies. A peaceful rural location. Dog friendly and the garden is secure for our Springer Spaniel.
Large flat screen television with DVD player and a few films. DAB music system. WIFI available but may not be the fastest. Dishwasher, washing machine, separate fridge and freezer plus a further drinks fridge in games area.
We have a travel cot available for your use (please bring your own bedding), plus a high chair should these be needed.
Finally you have the option of sharing our beach hut at the award winning Colwell Beach, complete with various chairs, skim boards and tea making facilities. If you would like, you could book (at no charge) a day or two of sole use (we'll get changed at home!) Please bring beach towels for when you're out and about. Here at Colwell you can also hire Stand Up Paddle boards, well worth trying out.
FYI, our changeover day is Friday. We understand this should benefit our guests with both cost & availability on the ferry.
Sadly after more than a decade, our bee populations has decided to move on, we no longer have bees in our flank wall.
