Snowshoe 3A Cabin January 2018 review

  • 5 of 5

Great cabin that is a true ski in-ski out from the Navajo side of Brianhead ski mountain. Also an easy walk to the Navajo side ski lodge. Fun location, and a cozy cabin feeling. Will definitely stay here again.

Condo was nice

  • 4 of 5

It was smaller than it looks in the pictures but the square footage was in the description so no deception. It was nice size for the 7 of us. We would stay there again. We had a great experience with this company. It really is dog friendly.

Spring Break at Brian Head

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to Brian Head and our kids first time on skis. Snowshoe 3A was a perfect location. The Navajo Lodge at Brian Head is where the ski school is and the condo is literally within walking distance, but driving is recommended for the sake of convenience with gear. The driveway to the condo can be hairy in snowy/muddy conditions but 4wd/chains will take care of that. If you are planning to cook, be sure to do your shopping ahead of time and bring what you need as there is very little to choose from up on the mountain. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean but lacks some essentials

  • 3 of 5

We've recently stayed in snowshoe condos(smaller unit- was lovely) and thought a larger one with a laundry machine would be nice this time. First impression is that it's got a nice, large space plan, with attractive features for a family, like laundry and dishwasher. The unit is clean as well. Other reviews claimed a hard mattress in the master, but we found it just fine. Towels were clean, new and abundant. On the other hand, some of the smallest things one would expect when renting a home away from home were lacking. No hairdryer, no coffee grinder, no functional drain stop for tub to bathe kids. Had to wash silverware after each meal as there was only 6 forks. The one and only spatula broke while flipping a grilled cheese. All of the cookware was aged and flimsy. We had a few leftovers, but only 2 Tupperwares with lids. No Saran Wrap, baggies, or tin foil. Because there are very few restaurants in Brian Head, a kitchen becomes important while visiting. These are very easy fixes and I will hope the owners do their part in outfitting their home better. Would love to hear these items are addressed and we'll be happy to stay again.

Couldn't warm up this place. Fireplace gave us all a headache (probably carbon monoxide issue)

Don't appreciate photo shopped pictures, place was obviously zoomed out when pictures were taken. Paid way too much, my kids were cold entire stay, was lookin to buy a heater but couldn't find the store.
