Cottage review

  • 5 of 5

Cute cottage in great location within walking distance to lake, park/beach, Tubbs Hill, restaurants, grocery..

the bikes were a nice bonus. Enjoyed the quaint garden out front and the surrounding trees made a nice shade canopy to escape the heat. We didn't like the fact that the back door did not lock leaving us/belongings vulnerable and some of the furnishings (mainly the dining table) were in bad condition and/or dated. Bed was comfy and shower had great water pressure, cottage had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Owner's Response: We are glad to see this guest enjoyed a pleasant stay. The back door knob does lock though the deadbolt does not, and access to the backdoor is restricted by lockable gates to the carport and hot tub area. The dining room table is slightly outdated, but it is in good condition as are all the other furnishings in the home. Thank you!

Cottage on Foster

  • 3 of 5

What I liked - convenience, quietness of the neighborhood, safety, the beautiful garden, home theater and ability to stream movies, washer/dryer, linens, bikes, hot tub. What I didn't like: dated furniture, old smelling, no dishwasher or garbage disposal, no drawers for clothing.
