A private par 3 practice course by Weiskopf Designs Group is the centerpiece of the Kauna'oa Country Club, an elegant club and spa facility exclusively for Kauna'oa homeowners and their guests. The Club is comprised of a central clubhouse with boardroom, a full kitchen for catering and hosting functions, a large infinity pool and hot tub, a private spa with massage rooms, saunas and steam facilities and a well equipped gym. The Club Concierge is on staff to assist with reservations, transportation and tee times.

Homes at Kauna'oa are within very close walking distance to the magical white sand beaches of both Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince Hotels. Membership privileges are available at both Hotels, for a minimal fee, and guests may use their pools, spas, tennis, exercise facilities, lounge chairs and towel service. Golf is also available at reduced rates as a guest of Kauna'oa. For your convenience, you may set up an account at check in so that you may enjoy charging privileges at the restaurants and shops at both Hotels.

Welcome to Kauna'oa 7A, with over 3100 sf of indoor and outdoor living. You will enjoy sweeping ocean views from the retractable pocket doors that create a seamless indoor-outdoor living environment. Enjoy the lush tropical landscaping and private pool and spa in our garden. The gracious lanais are ideal for sunbathing, watching the evening sunset and dining under the starry sky.

The spacious floor plan includes an entry foyer with open ceiling to the second floor. The home offers a complete gourmet kitchen with designer appliances (Viking refrigerator, Viking dishwasher, wine cooler, range and oven, etc.) and granite countertops throughout.

A ground floor Master Suite opens onto a shady lanai with views of the pool and spa. The Master en-suite is well appointment and has a large walk-in closet.

Gather in the family room to watch a movie on the large-screen HDTV with surround sound. In the evenings take advantage of our entertainment closet with a wide selection of books and board games.

A grand stairway made of beautiful cherry wood will lead you to another luxurious master suite bedroom. Enjoy the Spectacular Ocean Views and Sunsets from the master bedroom lanai. The Master suite is completed with a large walk in closet and stunning en suite bathroom. There is a second en suited bedroom upstairs with two twin beds.

Central air conditioning with three zones and separate temperature controls plus Island style ceiling fans help keep you cool.

The home has beautiful interior design, gracious outdoor lanais, individual free-form pool and spa, built in BBQ grill, privacy garden and a detached two-car garage. Please feel free to enjoy a wide assortment of pool and beach toys that are in the garage. There is also snorkelling equipment for you to borrow.

The home is a 10 minute walk to the Mauna Kea Beach & Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel facilities which includes two magnificent beaches and swimming pools, two golf courses, nine tennis courts at Mauna Kea, as well as resort charging privileges at many of the hotel's restaurants, lounges and shops.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay in this home. It was beautiful, with a great pool and nice views--even better in person than in the photos. It has the perfect location right between the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels and beaches. Our daughter appreciated the beach equipment, and we enjoyed the access to the nearby club with a par-3 golf course. The property managers were responsive, great to work with and very helpful. They had an excellent suggestion to rent a golf cart to more easily get around the resort and connected us to a great babysitter. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful rental home near Mauna Kea

Our family of 6 enjoyed the amenity rich Kauna 'oa during our recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. We were able to walk to the nearby country club pool and gym as well as the beautiful beaches of the Hapuna Prince and Mauna Kea hotels. Our villa was well stocked with towels, laundry supplies, beach equipment and kitchen necessities. We would visit again and tell our family and friends about this luxury accommodation with excellent communication prior to visit and during our visit. Mahalo!

Ok. I am really ambivalent about giving a review because then you are all going to book this place and we will never get back in ! But seriously, this is a great place to spend time with your family of all ages. It is roomy, convenient, and you can use the facilities of both the Hapuna Prince and the Mauna Kea hotels....need I say more? Stay here (but just not when we are wanting to rent it!).

Also, Anne, Kai and Muffet are super organized and helpful.

Amazing Trip!

We had four adults and four kids, and this place was perfect. The location was ideal being right between Mauna Kea and Hapuna, with full access to both resorts. We got a golf cart for each family, which made beach trips super convenient. The house was perfect and immaculate upon arrival. AC was perfect for those hotter days, and with three zones, each room basically had its own temp control. Manager was accessible immediately when we had questions, and was one of the nicest people we have dealt with on VRBO. I will rent this place every year from here on out.

Wonderful Family Week Away

My family of 6 had the best week away at Kauna'oa #7A. The home was beautiful and it had absolutely everything we needed for a fun and restful vacation in Hawaii. Kai and team were amazing at helping us to get cribs, groceries and golf carts delivered to our rental. It was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. We also had family at a nearby Kauna'oa rental and they had the best time as well. Thanks so much!!! We will be back for sure.
