We brought this property as the perfect escape from a busy work life. We wanted and found more trees in our lives, more fresh air, and more relaxation!
Such a big a inviting home. Well furnished and very clean. Instructions were clear and my friends and I had a blast. Will definitely be looking into booking again in the near future.
The cabin was a great mix of form and function! Everything was very comfortable and accommodating, with plenty of room for sleeping a big group comfortably. We were up in the early spring to do some white water rafting and had an amazing time from one of the places in North Creek, about a 15 min drive from the cabin! Would definitely come back for any season as they all seem to offer some new great Adirondack adventure.
The north creek cabin was fantastic! We were able to be on the slopes at Gore in 10 minutes door to lift. The cabin itself had a well stocked kitchen, was warm, and exceeded our expectations in every way. It was so nice we decided to just hang out there instead of skiing one day, enjoying the DVD collection and pool table by the wood stove. It only could have been better with 24" of snow.
We enjoyed the Adirondack Mountain Haus and it was just what we needed. It was comfortable and close to Gore Mountain where we were skiing. I would make a couple of suggestions: you should make it clear in your description that the main heating source is the wood stove. And you should also point out that you have to use a spiral staircase to get upstairs from the first floor. Neither of these things were a problem for us (though we had one skiing injury which made the spiral staircase a little difficult). In fact the wood stove was a hit with all, especially my son who liked making the fire. It was a comfortable and convenient place to stay despite these minor quibbles.
