Valhalla was the eternal home of Nordic and Germanic warriors who fell honorably in battle. It is portrayed in the Norse sagas and the operas of Richard Wagner as a stately mansion on a height overlooking the water, with a great stone fireplace.
Such is this home on the Little Saluda River, on the west end of Lake Murray. The house sleeps six, has all modern conveniences, lovely knotty pine paneling, a tremendous cathedral ceiling, great privacy, a great view, deck and gazebo, and a boat storage port, along with a carport. Access is off highway 391 north of the Saluda traffic circle, less than one hour from downtown Columbia. The dock is directly below the property, operated by the community association, but little used.
Boats can be launched less than a mile away adjacent to Camp Barstow. Boats can be secured on the dock during your stay with us. Adjacent to the property is the community association’s picnic area.
Come experience Valhalla!
