Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3/4 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6

Situated in the famous Central Coast Wine Country with Springtime weather all year…cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Bordering the Santa Rita Hills Wine Country, you will enjoy Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Solvang and San Luis Obispo, all nearby. We’re known for our world-class wines.

Enjoy this great tranquil property with fireplaces both inside and out. Have breakfast in the private tropical garden courtyard. Or choose dinner under the gazebo canopy. Due to the quiet nature of the neighborhood this home is not a party house.

Experience the California Missions, walks on the almost deserted beaches, endless wine tasting, great restaurants, shopping and golf. Also, you will find State Parks, horseback riding, birding, and many other activities.

Consider the coastal Amtrak to San Luis Obispo for lunch and have a glass of wine while enjoying the beautiful ocean views or choose the 1.5 hour auto trip to Hearst Castle….an awesome drive along the coast!

Surprising Private Oasis

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed at George's home to escape the Thomas Fire in Ojai. George was quick to respond even though it was late at night and he allowed us to check in early the next morning even though check in wasn't until 4pm. The place was spotless with all the amenities of home ~ comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, two living areas and a beautiful kitchen. I loved that our dogs were able to freely roam the backyard as it was fully gated. There was even a BBQ and fire pit which looked amazing. The gardens in the front are super private ~ you would never know you were in a residential community. It felt like a vacation! If I ever go back to the area for wine tasting etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice house!

Modern kitchen Can put car in the garage. Good yard for dog. Little touches to make you comfortable. Our only problem was the wi-fi, but that should be easily fixed.

Perfect property for a family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this nicely-appointed home for a wine weekend on the Central Coast. There were six adults in our group, and two large dogs. While we love to sample the local fare, we also enjoy our down-time, grilling, and cooking. Plus, I was entering two pies in a local winery competition. We also needed an enclosed yard for the "pups."

This clean and well-maintained property surpassed our expectations. The attractive decor was homey and practical: the bedrooms were comfy, and the living areas were perfect for lounging, dining, and playing silly card games. The quiet, enclosed front yard was great for meditating and reading. The spacious backyard was well-organized for grilling on the gas grill, or enjoying the wood-burning fireplace. We enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast in the gazebo.

Last but not least, the kitchen was well-equipped with pots & pans, knives and cooking utensils, and a well-functioning convection oven. Not only did we enjoy pancakes and omelets, but I was able to bake both pies there, and they turned out perfectly: one of them won 3rd place in the competition.

The rental facilitated a very enjoyable and memorable vacation, and we look forward to returning for more wine weekends!

kick back stay

  • 5 of 5

House was what their pics showed, pretty, spacious and open. Back and front yards created a relaxed and private air. Definitely drive all over to check out how lovely the surrounding country is. So many wineries to choose from. Lots of hiking areas. The ocean is near, but this isn't necessarily a beach-going area. During the summer the beaches are partially closed for nesting shore birds, which is good for them. The house is really good for any number of people. The kitchen is good to cook in, everything you need. My cocker spaniel thought the yards were heaven! The river walk is nice and convenient.
