About Property Manager

I grew up in Michigan and moved with my family to AZ in 1969. We live in the desert between Phoenix & Tucson in a place called Casa Grande. I built this home 10 yrs ago to get out of this darn heat. I love the change of seasons and get bored with the consistency of the desert. This home is so close to everything while still being quiet and tranquil. I think you will love it! The home is well equipped and I've done it all with estate sales giving it a rustic comfortable feel. It's always a project in motion though so if you think of something that I'm missing don't hesitate to put a bug in my ear! Enjoy!

Easter, 2nd Year

  • 5 of 5

Great family time. This is our 2nd year at this wonderful, awesome place with our family on Easter. Hope to make it a family tradition. Perfect size and has everything we need! Our Grandsons are growing so fast. I know they will remember this trip. They had a blast in the loft and we even brought the dog with us this year. Thank you Mary, my hubby got to chat with Maurice while we were there, very nice guy and very informative on where to fish.

Owner's Response: You are entirely welcome, always my pleasure to have you & your family. Hope the fishing was good! Maurice & Kim, my maintenance man & housekeeper, are a Godsend. Don't know what I'd do without them. Hope to have you again for Easter 2018 but be sure to reserve early to keep that tradition going!

Lovely and clean cabin

  • 4 of 5

We didn't stay at this location, but we stayed at the owner's other property #657803 instead due to the other property now being up for sale. The property we stayed at was a little smaller, but in a very lovely neighborhood a little higher in the mountains.

We loved the cabin. It had two bedrooms and a jack and jill bathroom in between. The furnishings in all the rooms were nice and spared no expense. There are two decks with several doors leading to both. It was also very clean.

The owner is very nice, and I enjoyed working with her.

In all the areas that mattered, this is a five star home. My reason for four stars is because of just a few items that I took for granted would be in a rental like this but were not there. There was no iron and ironing board and no hairdryer. As a VRBO owner myself, I make sure all these amenities are available for my guests. I do understand this is a minor detail, and it didn't really cause us any pain. It just would have made the experience five star. It was stll delightful.

Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate your comments as well about the ironing board & hair dryer. I've had too many hair dryers & curling irons disappear & since I don't iron I didn't put one in my own summer home but instead in the full-time rental. I was glad you got to use it anyhow! I hope you come again.

Charming, clean cabin adjacent to a forest

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. The cabin was set in a peaceful, safe neighborhood adjacent to a national forest. The owner/property manager was very responsive to our questions. We will come back again.

Owner's Response: I'm very happy you enjoyed the setting. I do my best to make sure everyone has a good experience and a major part of that is being accessible to renters that have questions needing to be answered. Look forward to hearing from you in the future, you're always welcome!

Quiet in the pines

  • 5 of 5

Very nice home and quiet and clean. It was just my wife and myself. Plenty of room. Kids would love it up in the loft. As long as they are not too little. Room to sleep as well as play. The steps to the loft are a bit steep but very well lit. Both the other bedrooms are on the main level as are the bathrooms. Use of the garage is very handy. Something you don't always have access to in a lot of rentals. Did I mention quiet. A bit windy during our visit but nothing like the wind whispering through the pines.

Owner's Response: Yes, it is a very family friendly home. Spring is usually very windy up north but I love the sound through the pines and the fact that it isn't accompanied by the dust storms we suffer in the desert. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
