'A picture says a thousand words'. This beautiful one bedroom condo (sleeps four) is immaculately decorated. Completely remodeled in January 2015. Sip coffee on the patio with running streams and lush landscaping right outside your balcony. Walk past Koi ponds, water falls, and the pool and you are standing on the beach. Can it get any better?
Everything is completely stocked from luxurious linens to fluffy towels. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and live down to the blender for an afternoon margarita to the coffee bean grinder and coffee maker for a fresh cup.
The beach is about 200 yards away and you don't need to cross a single street or drop down a flight of stairs. The edge of the property is literally touching the sand and surf. The wide open beaches stretch for miles to the south for sun bathing, surfing, bike riding or sunset walking . The world famous Oceanside Pier and town center is a short quarter mile walk right along the water. On the north side of the complex is the Oceanside Harbor with barking seals, shops, and restaurants. There you can rent sail boats, jet skis, stand-up paddle boards, or climb aboard a charter boat for fishing or whale watching.
The manager of the condo lives in the NCV complex. Local, available, responsive.

Gorgeous property, warm pool, short walk to beach
We had a wonderful time in Oceanside and loved staying at this condo. It was clean, quiet, and in a great location. We loved the warm pool, the hot tub, and the proximity to the beach. We look forward to visiting again!
Rental was clean and well maintained
Rental process was quick and efficient. I would be a returning customer.
North Coast Village was such a beautiful complex! The condo exceeded my expectations.
The property grounds were just beautiful. I had a garden view and it felt like I was in a tropical rain forest. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. No hassles with a very relaxing week. The location to the beach and shops was so close and convenient. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for the week including beach chairs and towels. Why did it take me so long to find such a beautiful place to find? I will be returning back soon to my new "Happy Place." MaryLou Walker
Everything was there for a great vacation
Overall the unit was in excellent condition - everything worked and was clean. Everything you needed to enjoy your stay was available - even coffee and filters! The WIFI worked well and was available 24/7. The resort itself was great - the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Definitely would rent again if vacationing in the area.
Loved this unit! Nice decor, bright and airy. Great courtyard views, complex has beautiful grounds with tropical flower, plants, koi fish and water falls. Very close to Harbor and beach. Would definitely book again!
Nicely decorated unit, but we didn't like the complex and the location
The unit is nicely decorated and has everything (almost everything - the kids' bed didn't have pillows, so we found extra pillows in the closet but without pillowcases, good that our bed had 4 pillows). What we didn't like: first, checkout at 10am!!! :((( Second, the complex - landscaping is impressive, but they don't have anything for kids, and there is no playground there or around. The game room was locked, the billiard room had no equipment (you had to go to the other side of the complex to barrow it with a deposit)... The beach was not very nice either, the area around is quite nasty and it was cold and foggy! :((
The only reason we rented a place for such a high price is that we wanted to spend a weekend on the beach (while our home in San Diego was being remodeled), however this beach is not usable most of the time because of cold weather and June gloom (turns out Oceanside is the worst at this!) and not very pleasant anyway. Bottom line: way too expensive for what you get.
Averaging 4.8 out of 5 stars, this sure jumped out at us!
So sorry if pillow cases were missing. I wish you would have a just called us. We would have been there in a heart-beat. I ran over to inventory the unit this morning and everything is there, but that does not mean that our cleaning service did not make an error during your stay (removing the old and not replacing with fresh). They may have been missing when you were with us. If they were not there, my sincere apologies. We are very responsive to phone calls and less than a mile away. It is true that we keep the pillows for the sleeper sofa in the closet and not laying on top of the sofa itself.
I don't know what to say about the weather not being what you hoped for. We can control much about the rental, but that one is a bit out of our reach :-) As for the comment that Oceanside is the worst for overcast conditions? Your perception is a head-scratcher and candidly, simply not true. Oceanside tracks the weather of the entire San Diego coast. My late father being a meteorologist, I have a geek-like interest in weather. So for other geeks - here is more info than most people would ever want. The morning overcast is caused by the ocean being warmer than the ambient night air. This happens mostly in May and Early June when water warms up from the shifting currents that bring warm water up from the south. (going deep into geek now) Variations of how long the morning overcast lasts into the morning is a product of the daytime temps, wind, and if there are steep hills along the coast holding it in. The areas in San Diego where this elevation rise (hills) holds in the gloom later into the day is primarily Del Mar and La Jolla (known for their very steep coastline with spectacular views). The rest of us are fairly flat for at least 5 miles inland and there is no perceivable difference north or south. (Did I mention I am a bit of a weather nerd)! Sorry for the long ramble. I just did not want other people to read this comment about Oceanside being in some weird weather Bermuda Triangle and take it at face value.
