There is more to do in this area than you could ever imagine. We promise, you won't want to leave!
We built this house on the lake and have enjoyed every minute living here! Now that the kids are off to college (boo-hoo) we get to escape and see the world. We invite you to enjoy the world we love in NH.
The Owner purchased this house in 1999
We were so excited to find this piece of land still available on the water and designed the home ourselves. From a great mud room to leave all your stuff, to a huge stone fireplace, to a relaxing family room and open kitchen so everyone can visit, to wrap around decks- we designed this to enjoy the company of our family and friends and make great memories.
Best place in the world to sit on the deck and enjoy the views and peaceful time together. You might even hear a loon. And yes- we have had a bear or two climb up the deck! We enjoy swimming and fishing in the cool spring fed pond. Walk down the neighborhood road to a playground, basketball courts, tennis court, and another amazing beach. We love mountain biking right out our front door or hoping in the canoe for an enjoyable paddle around the lake. There's even a Fire pit on the lake for roasting marshmellows.(Fire permit required)
In the winter, make a fire in the stone fireplace and play some cards. Our house is filled with board games. Walk out the door and cross country ski or snowmobile. Head down to the pond and ice fish- and maybe even ice skate.
The area itself is filled with so many attractions and things to do, you could never do them all. From hiking trails, to StoryLand and Santas Village, to waterparks and shopping in scenic North Conway, or taking in a play in Tamworth and touring the new distillery. How about ski mountains galore, with all levels of expertise, open for fun activities summer and winter , Remick Farm, a real life farm run just like the old days, complete with lots of animal to pet.
Our weekend away from home at the Robbins' was spectacular! The house was clean and prepped for rental upon arrival. Our stay was most comfortable and time with nature was much needed!
Thank you to the Robbins for use of Camp Relax alot, we'll be sure to spread news of your services!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this well maintained lovely lakeside home. The home has lots of spacious areas for family fun and a huge deck with nice views of Moore Pond and Mt. Chocorua. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for preparing meals. There are so many books and games along with the pool table for evening activities or a rainy day. Our family, including our four and almost seven year old grandchildren, especially enjoyed swimming at the beautiful private resort beach just a very short canoe or kayak ride away or short walk from the house. The pond is so perfect for canoeing or kayaking in the early morning or evening before sunset. We enjoyed the wildlife, too, -- listening to loons at dawn and watching beavers swimming by feeding on fish the house in the evening. We highly recommend this home for a family vacation.
Two families of four (kids aged 7 to 11) stayed comfortably for a week at this lovely home. The house is bigger than the pictures reveal with a great layout. The kitchen (stocked with pots, pans, and spices!) opens to tv/family room and dining room making the people cooking part of the action. The fireplace room with pool table has double doors for privacy and noise containment. There's a huge mud room off the garage, a full bathroom on the main floor, and spacious bedrooms with nice closet space. As others have mentioned, the pool table is a disappointment. Also, a few upgrades to the windows and screens would be helpful for the bugs, which add to the mountain ambiance, and perhaps some new outdoor furniture for the upstairs deck would make the area more inviting while adding to the breathtaking view of Mt. Chocurua the house provides. The appliances are serviceable, and when they're not, the property managers are very responsive and helpful. But these nitpicks do not take away from the overall wonderful experience. Other small niceties include quick wifi, a blue ray/DVD player, a Wii for the kids, a nice selection of books, fire pit by the lake for late night s'mores, and a huge deck with a partially screened area for eating and hanging out.
Moore's Pond on which the house sits is a great little lake. The walk down to the "dock" (just a cleared space for boat put in) is rather steep but super close, so getting out for a paddle is an easy impromptu decision. The canoe and kayak provided are serviceable. And the private beach is a short paddle away-- even shorter drive-- for swimming and relaxing. The beach is secluded, private, and well maintained.
The house is very centrally located. In fact, I'm not sure you can get much better. Conway is 20 minutes in one direction and Merrideth is about 25 in the other, both great for small town adventures. Mount Washington and Lost River are each about an hour drive on beautiful roads. And hiking (check out Black Cap), paddling lakes or the Saco, and biking on various trails (not necessarily for the little ones) are easily accessible.
Overall, the house provides for a great family vacation. We would stay there again.

We stayed here for a long weekend with two families and 4 young children and had an absolute blast. The house is well stocked with adventure items, we canoed, went to the beach, cooked out, had smores by the fire pit down in the lack and a fire in the billiards room and everything was to be expected and described. The bonus play room
I stayed in this property with my family and friends during the last long weekend, I can only tell that this is one of the best properties I have stayed in for a vacation in that locality, We went their for hiking and there are amazing moderate to high level hiking trails around this place and also some amazing lakes. We had kids in our group and they also enjoyed the vacation thoroughly, I highly recommend this property to all....!!!

Catch fish in this pond or try Lake Ossipee, SIlver Lake or any of the numerous lakes. Road bike down country roads or mountain bike some exciting trails, all out the front door. Walk 5 minutes to the playground, basketball or tennis courts. Sit on the deck and take in the views, read a book and watch all the birds fly by. Kayack and canoe are ready to use in our lake or take a day trip down the Bearcamp River or Saco River. In the evening head over to Barnstormers, home of the oldest running summer stock theater (get tickets on line) and enjoy dinner and a play, often with surprising famous guest stars.
