House Rules

Please respect my home and neighborhood is all I ask. No parties at the house please. There's plenty to do in New Orleans if you want to party. If you have a problem, please give me a call.

Please read my house rules when you arrive. Use the rod for opening and closing the curtains PLEASE!!!!!!

There's one parking spot on street in front of the home or across the street has many spots. Please don't park in front of the neighbors homes, they don't like that.

Also do not do laundry before 9am or after 9pm if you desire to do laundry.

House quiet hours are posted on the front and back doors, please abide by them as you are the only ones on vacation, the neighbors still have to work in the morning, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL!!!

Thanks ya'll!

Enjoy NOLA, there's no place like it!

About Liz Stromath

'Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?' I am in Love with NOLA, love the music, culture, architecture, history and of course the food!

I live in Manhattan Beach, CA and travel to NOLA frequently. We own this duplex and our daughter lives on the other side. She and I can help with questions or concerns. I do ask that you respect our neighbors and not to park in front of the neighbor's homes. There is a space in front of our home or on the other side of the street. Thanks for your respect of our 1860 home that was built when Abraham LIncoln was President. It's survived many a storm as it's very well built!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Lisa and her family were great tenants. They left my home clean and everything in it's place. They were respectful of our home and the neighborhood and I'm so glad they had a great time. I would love for them to come back any time!

Gracious and generous host, lovely home, great location. Our family had a quick weekend getaway to New Orleans and this was the perfect place to stay and relax. Plenty of room, quiet, clean and comfortable.

A traditional New Orleans experience

  • 4 of 5

Our family loved staying at this house during our daughter's graduation from Tulane. The home is right off of St. Charles, and convenient to grocery stores, shopping on Magazine Street and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to walk to a celebratory dinner at Commander's Palace. All in all, a great get away.

Christmas in New Orleans~Priceless!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed in this charming house for a week over the Christmas holiday and it made for a perfect haven to return to, after our festivities ended each night. The location was just what we wanted, local neighborhood, safe walk to close-by market for groceries, short walk to Magazine Street and 1 block from streetcar on St.Charles. The home is incredible, I loved it once I sat on the porch with my coffee, watching the neighbors walk to the lovely church just up the street for services on the holiday. The home was filled with amazing furniture, artwork and personal touches that made us feel so welcome, beds were fantastic, very restful and we enjoyed heating up left-overs in kitchen and cooking a wee bit. I especially loved our garden, filled with large trees full of birds, lots of chairs to sit and enjoy our coffee in the morning and plan our days. There was a string of sparkly lights that were lit for us at night to return to and relax and talk about our adventures. I encourage Ya'll to reserve Liz's incredible home the next time you come back to our favorite city, it is avery special place!
