(please note there is a small place where your dog can go into the adjacent casitas back yard which is enclosed as well but they may not want your doggies in there.)

About Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp

A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals

Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old.

While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp purchased this house in 1999

Why Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp chose Santa Fe

Location, location, location is why I chose these homes for our visitors. We want our guests to have the convenience of walking everywhere.

What makes this house unique

When you stay with Two Casitas you stay like a local, not like a tourist, and experience Santa Fe like you live here. Who knows, maybe you will someday! Welcome to Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals

The age old adage, location, location, location applies to our vacation rentals. Only Two Casitas offers such a selection of exquisite Santa Fe lodging possibilities.

Our 30 unique homes are located in Santa Fe's finest neighborhoods, only blocks away from The Plaza, our town’s historic center. Nearby are Canyon Road’s world-class galleries and restaurants; a short walk takes you to the newly modernized Rail Yard historic district.

Two Casitas’ vacation homes are tucked away in the city's most tranquil residential streets, yet strategically situated so you can experience our beautiful city on foot.

We offer everything from cozy romantic studios perfect for romantic getaways, to one, two and three bedroom homes and many of our homes are pet friendly. Each home is thoughtfully decorated by the individual owners, with emphasis given to historic design themes, local materials and artisans, yet fully equipped with every modern comfort.

Step across the threshold of your Two Casitas vacation rental and you’ll know you’re not in Kansas anymore---or New York, or Chicago, or Seattle. Santa Fe's distinctive adobe buildings and architecture evoke the city’s history as a confluence of Spanish and Native American cultures. Two Casitas promises our guests an authentic Southwest experience.

Whether you are looking for a century-old adobe home or a contemporary Santa Fe Style home, Two Casitas is sure to have something that will suit your taste. Santa Fe itself offers a unique and enchanting experience rich with breathtaking vistas, award-winning cuisine, phenomenal dining, art, and shopping, excellent museums, and a cultural heritage unlike any other in the United States.

Mother's Day weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Mariposa. My siblings and I took our Mother to Santa Fe to celebrate her 70th Birthday and Mother's Day. The house was in a wonderful location. It was in walking distance to shops and eateries but was still off the beaten path. The outdoor space was very tranquil and we spend many hours under the gazebo. The house is very charming and we loved the layout. The kitchen is the center of the house and we all felt like we were living together again for a few days. Everyone loved it and would highly recommend this property for your next family vacation!

Perfect for my family reuion

  • 5 of 5

My cousin Wendy who owns this house and Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals rented her house to us for a family reunion. It could not have been more perfect. there were 10 of us so we spent a lot of time in the incredible back yard. Much nicer than the photographes. The house itself was well equipped and the beds were perfect. TV in every room and authentic Santa Fe style in an incredible quiet neighborhood. It was simply a perfect stay.

Perfect getaway home!

  • 5 of 5

We went to Santa Fe for a girls trip, there was 10 of us all together. The house fit us all perfectly and it was just the right size. We didn't feel cramped at all! The location was great too, only a 2 min drive or less to the main square. The owners were so incredibly nice. When we arrived we had little goodies waiting for us and they checked in with me shortly after check in to make sure there were no concerns or questions. This was a great trip, I'm so happy with the house. I'll definitely use this place again in the future!

Gorgeous Christmas Destination

  • 5 of 5

This place was fantastic! We're glad we booked in advance for Christmas because in Santa Fe everything fills up and this house was no exception. The "Mariposa" home had all of the modern conveniences we needed to prepare a delightful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feast with plenty of fun for everyone. The grounds/outdoor areas of the house were well maintained and had ample patio furniture for the gazebos, and the hottub was really nice for the wintertime. The company itself who manages the home, Two Casitas, were easy to work with at various times beforehand and then during our stay.

We would recommend the house to anyone asking!

Spacious yet strange floor plan

  • 3 of 5

This house is very quaint, with a typical pueblo- inspired style. However, the bedrooms and adjoining dining room/lounge all surround the kitchen. To get from the kitchen to the dining room, you need to enter through a bedroom. The layout is very strange. It's also more like a 10-12 minute walk to the plaza.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that the home wasn't what you had expected. We always try to portray our homes accurately in our photographs and descriptions (we are currently working on getting pictures of the floor plans into all of our listings. This particular home was build one room at a time starting in the late 1800's so the design is a little bit unconventional. Part of the charm of this house is there was no master layout as the people build one room as they could afford it by baking adobe bricks. We apologize again if you feel as if that fact was not portrayed accurately in our listing. We do advertise that his home is about a 10-minute walk to the Plaza and a 5-minute walk to Canyon Road. We hope that despite your issues with the home that you had a wonderful time in Santa Fe, and we hope to see you here again some time soon.

Exquisite Adobe, Walking Distance of Everything!

  • 5 of 5

This was a fantastic home and location! There was a very nice, spacious backyard with plenty of seating. The hottub was great, a good place to relax in private. We loved the interior of the home, very authentic and charming- totally Santa Fe style. A few things came up throughout or stay and multiple people from the Two Casitas team helped us with everything, grade A service! All in all, we couldn't have had a better trip and we truly enjoyed the house, our stay, and exploring the city.
