AreaThe apartment benefits from a very central position in Rome city centre, steps from the Trevi Fountain (200 meters) and right behind the Quirinal Palace, the official residence of the Italian President of the Republic. In less than 10 minutes on foot - 700 meters - you find the Palazzo Montecitorio, home to the Italian parliament, and Piazza Colonna, where the famous Column of Marcus Aurelius stands.

For art-lovers: minutes away is the National Gallery of Ancient Art (Galleria Nazionale di Arte Antica), which displays works by Bernini, Caravaggio, Van Dyck, Beato Angelico, El Greco, Raffaello and many more. In addition, at about 550-600 meters - between Via del Corso and Via della Gatta - you find the Doria Pamphilj Gallery: the collection, started by pope Innocenzo X in 1651 and continued during the centuries, comprises paintings by artists such as Tintoretto, Tiziano, Raffaello, Caravaggio, Guercino and Velazquez.

In Trevi district there are also some of the most important Rome’s shopping streets: Via del Tritone, within very easy walking distance, features stately buildings dating back to king Umberto’s period (‘Umbertino’ architecture) and Baroque palaces; Via del Corso, famous for its shops of the major fashion brands, connects Piazza del Popolo to Piazza Venezia; Piazza di Spagna, including the nearby Tridente - Via dei Condotti, Via Frattina and Via del Babbuino - filled with prestigious boutiques (Valentino, Furla, Bulgari, Ferragamo, Trussardi, Armani, just to name a few).

The streets around Vicolo Scanderberg, especially those close to the Trevi Fountain, offer a very rich choice of restaurants and ‘osterie’, where to taste the typical Roman cuisine.

Public transports Along Via del Tritone you find several bus stops (53, 62, 63, 71, 83, 85, 116, 160, 492, etc); in Via del Traforo there is also bus the line 71 to the Tiburtina Station. The closest subway stop is Barberini (line A), at about 700 meters, leading to Termini Station and to the Vatican.

The apartment is located right outside the ZTL, the Limited Traffic Area of Rome’s city centre.
