WELCOME to Glacier Lodge. This large, 968 square foot suite is located at the base of Blackcomb mountain just across from the Fairmont Hotel.
In Winter, you can ski straight to the property after a day on the slopes and the Wizard chair lift is just steps from your door. You will be close to shopping and dining. Lost Lake XC ski and snowshoe trails are also a short walk away.
In the Summer, you will have everything on your doorstep! The Family Adventure Zone is located in the Upper Village, less than a minute walk, where there are tons of childrens activities such as bungee trampolines, mini golf, go carts, mazes, batting cages and so much more! The Whistler Farmers market is also held every Sunday just outside of Glacier Lodge. Lakes and trails are all a short walk away. The Chateaux Whistler Golf course is also just around the corner as well as Lost Lake and lots of XC biking and hiking trails!
This suite is on the third floor of Glacier Lodge with elevator access. You walk in to a large mudroom with lots of storage space, full closet, and full bathroom off the entry. The main floor of the unit has an open plan living area, full kitchen with breakfast bar, dining table with seating for 6, living room, as well as a large master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a large balcony with small seating area accessible from the master and the living room. The open living area features a gas fireplace and has a pull out sofa bed to accommodate up to 6 people. The second bedroom with two twin beds and TV is located on the top floor with high, vaulted ceilings. Free WiFi, cable and local calls included. Note the twin beds can be converted into a king with a minimum of a week's notice. The suite has just undergone full soundproofing of the windows to ensure a peaceful nights sleep! Glacier Lodge offers an outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room and complimentary ski valet and bike storage. Please note, there is paid, secured underground parking available at the property that can be arranged at the front desk upon arrival. Parking is not free at this complex. Whistler Village is a 7 minute stroll through a beautiful forested area crossing a small river or you can take a ride on the free shuttle located just outside of Glacier Lodge. The perfect place to spend your vacation!

PLEASE NOTE: There is no smoking inside or outside at the Glacier Lodge. Smoking anywhere on the property, including balconies, will result in a fine.
Prior to check-in, guests will be required to provide a credit card plus photo identification for a pre-authorization of $500. The credit card may be charged up to $500 after departure if property is damaged, requires excessive cleaning, or if items are missing. The credit card provided must be in the name of main guest.

Stayed here in March for a long ski weekend. The place is very nice, had everything we needed. No issues with early morning noise and the staff helped us out with a car jump when we killed our battery. Loved the hot tub after a day of skiing and it was a beautiful walk into the village for a bite to eat or a few drinks. Easy walk to the ski lift, great skiing too! Highly recommended.
Terrible very noisy right on blackcomb way, NO washer and dryer, derth of dishes
We were very disappointed in Glacier Lodge #@(. Its situated on Black comb way side and is very noisy. We were woken up every morning at 6am by loud trucks and delivery clanging...not a nice way to spend a vacation. There is NO washer and dryer in the unit only one very ancient
lodge coin operated washer. Get the mention of washer and dryer out of the description for #@(...false advertising! We were supposed to get
two bath towels each and had to search for second ones as they were under sink and didn't smell very fresh or look clean. Twin beds in loft
were very uncomfortable and made all kinds of noise when you move. Lack of pillows to sleep with. Strange rubber plastic decorative pillows might as well not be there. King bed downstairs was comfortable but noise level from Black comb way made it an unpleasant room.
Very limited appointment dishes/glasses/cups/silverware wise. All in all a very unpleasant unit to stay in and we will not come back.
We would advise staying upslope more beyond the Aspens and requesting slopeside not pool-side room. Glacier lodge did have a very
nice although small heated pool and two hot tubs that make it fun for kids to jump in and out of.
I am extremely sorry to hear you had such an unpleasant stay. We are working with the building manager to see if we can do anything about the vehicle noise in the morning.
Regarding the other issues you mentioned - we do not advertise that there are laundry facilities within the unit and clearly indicate that the building has laundry facilities - there are in fact facilities on every floor to use if you were not happy with the machines on the 3rd level.
We do leave 2 bath towels hanging on the rack, along with hand towels and face cloths and the remainder of towels go under the sink of each bathroom (this is with all properties as there is no room to hang lots of towels on the rack) however every towel put in the suite is fresh and clean for your arrival. If we had of known that you felt they were a little un-fresh, you needed more or that you would have been more comfortable with extra pillows or kitchenware in the suite, we would have brought some right over as we are available 24/7. We are always available during your stay via. phone / email and the front desk would also happily communicate any concerns to us. I do wish you had of called so we could have made your stay more pleasant.

Clean & Ideal for early risers
We are a family of four - stayed 6 nights in August and felt this was a bargain. The unit was spacious and clean. We would book again, especially for shorter trips.
Pros: Recently updated so nothing triggered my allergies! Unit was clean and you don't hear other resident noise. From the master, we couldn't hear any noise from the loft. Great location right next to the Fairmont and the upper Blackcomb area. Parking ($15) under the lodge was convenient. There's a storage room in the garage and a bike room off the lobby. Pool is small, as are most in Whistler, but was never crowded. Very private - no one can see into your unit because there are perfectly situated trees.
Cons: A linen truck comes every morning at 6am; even woke the heavy sleeper. There's a second tv up in the loft but it should be in the master - no way to have the tv on in the living room if kids have gone to bed (there's a half wall and sliding windows/shades so the loft is not 'open' to downstairs). This isn't a location where you would sit on the deck and enjoy nature due to road noise. I'm sure they are 'coming soon' but no artwork on the walls made it feel a bit sterile. Beds are extra firm so plan accordingly.
To be honest, 'clean' is #1 on our list and it was lovely to have minimal carpeting and fresh tile/solid surfaces. Sound proof glass and a comfy couch would boost this to 5 star but it's a great bargain.
One of the best locations in Whistler - Ski-in access located within walking distance to the Whistler Village! The upper Village is located a 5-10 minute walk from the main Whistler Village. There are lots of stores, restaurants and hotels located in this area and is a great place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the Village but still have everything on your door step!

The balance of your stay is due 45 days prior to your arrival. For bookings made within 45 days of arrival, the full amount will be charged when the booking is made and is non-refundable.
