About the property

3-Bedrooms, 2-Bathrooms (Sleeps 7-9) Near Liberty Park

This is an updated Victorian home in the eclectic 9th & 9th district of Salt Lake City, just over a mile from the center of downtown Salt Lake City & the convention center. Close to the city's center and less than a block from Liberty Park, which is Salt Lake's version of Central Park.

The mountains and ski resorts are just to the east of this house and there is easy access for driving there. If you're using public transportation, there is a bus stop less than a block away from this house. Liberty Park is home to the Tracy Aviary and has a lot of fun activities such as tennis, rollerblading, and jogging on the running trails. There are several picnic areas with grills that can be reserved.

The house is filled with antiques and items that we've collected in our travels around the world, NOT the same old particle-board stuff that you see in most of the other rentals. The stairs to the top floor are steep may be difficult for elderly guests to navigate. However, bedroom #1 is on the main floor.

The dining room has a large table and can seat up to 10 people. There is a whole-house evaporative air cooler as well as individual A/Cs throughout the house, so heat will not be an issue in the summer. There is a 24-hour supermarket within a few blocks of the house and the kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances & utensils that you'll need during your stay.

We took on this property because of its proximity to downtown Salt Lake City, the mountains & the major ski resorts, and the owners chose us to manage it because we have the highest VRBO ratings in Salt Lake City.

This house is in the 9th & 9th District, which is our 'gaslight' district. It's a small neighborhood full of curio shops, unique restaurants, yoga studios, etc.

Comfortable and great location

Easy access to downtown and to the freeway to get up the Cottonwood canyons. A few blocks from 9th and 9th. Appreciated room to park cars off the street, behind the house.

Great Location in the City Center!

This home was exactly as billed. Walking distance to very cool eateries, a movie theater and Liberty Park (which is totally amazing). The owner lives in the area in is very easy to work with.

Great House

We rented this house while visiting family in the area. It was the perfect size and very comfortable for our small family gathering of 6. Four of us stayed in this house, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, so each couple could have a bathroom. The house was clean, comfortable and up-to-date with new appliances and remodeled bathrooms. The location was perfect, very close to downtown and Temple Square, and had nice coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The nearby park was lovely and a grocery store with a gas station was not far away. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel very comfortable. We would stay here again.
