Upon entering, on the left, you find a spacious wardrobe where you can store all your luggages: opposite there is the double living room -with one air conditioning unit- furnished with a three-seater sofa, two black armchairs and a pouf; in the second half of the sitting room there are two sofas for up to 3 people, that can also be used as two comfortable single beds, and a TV corner.
Two windows face the street, whilst the walls are decorated with pictures and shelves: some of them are filled with books and lovely objects, others are empty and can be used by the guests. The corridor, embellished by some pictures and mirrors on one side and shelves with stacks of books on the other, stands aside for a unique detail: some horns hang from the ceiling and create a very special atmosphere.
The fully fitted kitchen has fridge, microwave, electric and gas oven, a small dishwasher and washing machine; it also comes with a round table with 4 chairs.
The night area is composed of a bathroom with tub and hand shower, and a bedroom with a double bed (190X160), a big wardrobe and two antique pieces of furniture. All around, mirrors and paintings bestow a touch of magic to the room.
The house has parquet flooring.
Area The apartment is located in Delle Vittorie, Rome’s XV district, north to the city centre and close to the Tiber river. In the vicinity (Via Mazzini) there is the Philips Building, constructed between 1960 and 1963 by architect Giò Ponti and now home to the Italian broadcasting corporation RAI; here you find the famous statue of the ‘Cavallo Morente’ (‘Dying horse’) by Francesco Messina. The area, where the Universal Exhibition in 1911 took place, is filled with stately houses on one or two floors that represent the Roman ‘barocchetto’ style. Not too far is also the natural reserve of Monte Mario and, a bit further to the north, the Olympic Stadium. The apartment is well positioned to reach the Vatican and its famous museums (bus line 217, tramway 72).
Public transports The closest subway stop is Lepanto (line A); you can get there by taking bus line 280 or 224.
Parking The apartment is located OUTSIDE the Limited Traffic Area (ZTL). In the area you find: paid on-street parking (within blue lines), free on-street parking (white lines) and private garages.
