AreaThe apartment is located in a lively area, centred on Piazza Maggiore (Chiesa di San Petronio -one of the most important churches in the world- Palazzo d’Accursio, Museo Morandi, the city’s collections of art, Palazzo Re Enzo, the Civic Museum), Piazza Nettuno with its marvellous fountain by Giambologna and the former Sala Borsa with a state-of-the-art multimedia library, and the Two Towers dating back to the 1100.This is the true Bologna’s city centre, and all around there are many typical alleyways with colourful street markets, pubs, trendy clubs, interesting shops.
Public transportIn Via Isaia there is the bus to Piazza Maggiore and to the station. The bus to the fair stops at approx. 100 meters in Piazza Malpighi.
ParkingThe apartment is located in a Limited Traffic Area, but there are many private garages where to leave the car and obtain the permit to drive in the city centre. Paid parking in Via Frassinago and Porta Saragozza.
