Grill steaks or play games on the game table while rocking yourself to relaxation on the huge front porch. Inside, the cabin features a cozy great room with a wood burning fireplace, 50” flat screen TV, cable, Bluetooth Capable Sound-bar, and PlayStation 3 . You will find the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The main level bedroom has a queen sized bed, 32' flat screen, and a walk-out to a screened porch with fireplace. Imagine spending an evening curled up in front of the fire outside! There is a large full bathroom with W/D downstairs, as well. Upstairs in the loft, there are two twin beds and another full bathroom. Firewood, linens, dishes and board games are provided for your comfort. *There is no house phone and some carriers do not get cell service at the cabin. Guests should plan accordingly*
American Country Cabin is surrounded by 3 acres of woods and is a very private get away from the city life. As you meander up the driveway off the country road, it is the first house you come to on the right. The house at the end is a private residence so please respect they’re privacy as they will yours. Walking the miles of unpaved country lanes is a quick way to rebalance and renew yourself!
The cabin is ideally situated between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, making it the perfect home base for exploring North Georgia’s countless attractions. You’re only 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge where you can enjoy shopping, dining, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, the Swan Drive-In, antiquing, and Lake Blue Ridge. Don’t miss the Santa Express and ice skating at Blue Ridge on Ice this winter! McCaysville and the Ocoee Whitewater Center are also an easy 10-15 minute drive away. Here, you can enjoy trout fishing at Horse Shoe Bend Park, hiking and mountain biking the Tanasi Trails, and rafting the Ocoee and Toccoa River. The Cohutta Wilderness, just a few miles away, offers even more opportunities for hiking, fishing and off-road driving. Other favorite activities nearby include horseback riding, ziplining, visiting waterfalls, and driving tours to TN and NC.
Come enjoy the winter with us in beautiful Blue Ridge, GA!
Thanks for taking a look at our cute cabin! We're a busy young couple that fell in love with the liveliness and natural beauty of Blue Ridge. This cabin is one of our favorite places to relax and we hope it will be one of yours too!
Bridget and Arian Cigarroa purchased this cabin in 2014

Our family had a great stay at the American Country cabin.
The location was remote and yet convenient to area attractions.
All you need for a comfy stay whether for the weekend or for the week.
The owners were quick to respond to any questions that we had.
We had a great hike on the Appalachian trail. A must visit is the swinging bridge on the Toccoa river.
We visited downtown Blue Ridge. Beautiful shops and restaurants. A must visit is Joe's BBQ. Go early cause he runs out of ribs often. And the potato salad is to die for😊
Our favorite shops were Huck's general store, Humble Pie (love their soaps and fashions. And very affordable), Three sisters fudge (our favorite is salted caramel), Blue Ridge bath store ( their soy candles are amazing) and a few others.
McCaysville is just a few minutes away. There are a few cute shops to visit there as well. McCaysville drug and gun is a neat store for meds and different items for your shooting pleasure. IGA is a great hometown grocery store. It came in handy a few times. Very nice people too. And of course you have to get your picture taken on the Tennessee/Georgia line. It was weird to have one foot in Tennessee and one foot in Georgia😊.
A very fun time was had by all. We are definitely hoping to return again real soon.
A beautiful cabin in the middle of the woods. This cabin was peaceful and away from others, though the neighbors are close, they do not encroach on privacy. We saw so much wildlife and were able to sit on the porch and listen to nature. The cabin was stocked and ready to go. It was just my husband and I, alone for a quite weekend and this cabin was everything that we could have hoped for. I will say that the mattress in the main bedroom are memory foam, so that was a down side for someone that likes a firmer mattress, but that is strictly a personal preference. So, we were unable to locate the PS3/dvd player, but we had a portable dvd player in the car, so again, not a big deal. We would love to visit again for another quite weekend.
A wonderful place for a much needed break. We loved it. Same time next year?
Very quiet, relaxing a prefect place to get away from All the everyday problems. Will come again. Phillip
I have a front wheel drive SUV. We had to get a "running" start up the drive, but made it with little problem. We did have a problem with the lock and internet codes, but it was resolved fairly quickly. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We were out exploring during the day so we were only there in the evenings to enjoy the cabin. It was cool in the evenings and we were able to leave the windows open, which was a great reprieve from the warm fall weather in Florida. It was also quiet, which we loved. The cabin was well appointed with everything you would need for a stay, except for the staples. My only regret is that we didn't get to use the fireplace on the porch. Maybe next time : )
We enjoyed our stay at the American Country Cabin in the mountains of Georgia. The cabin
was a great place for relaxation. We especially enjoyed the two fireplaces. Hopefully, we
can return next fall.
