About Sheri Marsing
I am a Farm Girl at heart. I love taking care of this small farm property that is set in such a pretty area. I love the snow activities in the winter. Snowshoeing is one of my favorite activities because we can get to some beautiful untouched areas that other activities can't access.

What makes this Apartment unique
Four distinct season add adventure to each season. Winter snow activities abound on the constant snow conditions. Spring is extended here because of our high altitude cool conditions. Flowers are still in bloom here when the rest of the lower altitudes are baking in the sun. Summer evening temperatures are rarely above 60 degrees

Great Base Camp for a Nordic ski adventure
We were in Utah for a Nordic ski meet at Soldier Hollow (2018 Junior Nationals). Sheri's property in Woodland was great base camp for the week. It was a scenic 20 minute drive down to Midway on race days. On other days we shot over to Park City or stayed in the Uinta-Wasatch National Forest to do some hiking (many others were enjoying what looked like a banner year for snowmobiling another 10 miles up State Hwy 35 at the winter snow gate). We had our two border collies along - it is great to find pet friendly accommodations. The place was clean and in excellent working order. The bed was very comfortable and we ran the furnace fan "always on" at night for some nice white noise. The layout was very functional for 2-3 people and the driveway is wide if you have adventure gear. Sheri was very supportive with linens and towels. The location is in horse country, so expect some farm animals in the neighborhood (we bought extra carrots and it was great). Also, don't miss breakfast a short walk up Hwy. 35 at the Woodland Biscuit Company... great service and robust coffee.
Very good buying experience
Good accommodation and great people
We are 5 miles Southeast of the town of Kamas, Utah which is also known as the "Gateway to the Uintah Mountains". Reaching 11,000' in altitude, The Mirror Lake Scenic By-Way provides breathtaking vistas of this unique mountain range. The Provo River Falls is a must see along the way. In late May and June the Spring run-off is a torrent of water that covers the beautiful rock stair-stepping that may be seen later in the summer as the water quiets down. High altitude lakes and streams provide wonderful hiking and fishing destinations.
