Great rental for families

  • 5 of 5

This house was just what we needed for our family of four + dog. Everything was organized and everything worked as described. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated the open space. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms.

Very easy and would definitely stay here again.

A lot of sleeping space, good location

  • 4 of 5

My family stayed here with another family (total of 4 adults, 4 kids) for a weekend of skiing at Mt Bachelor. It's not fancy, but overall it worked really for us. Pros: (1) Lots of sleeping space. 3 bedrooms + a loft with beds. (2) Good location as a base for skiing (3) Garage for parking (4) Clean. Cons: (1) Cooking utensils could be a lot nicer. Knives were very dull, nonstick pans were scratched. (2) There was salt and some flour, but very little other basic cooking ingredients. Bring your own olive oil and butter. (3) If you have babies, watch them closely while upstairs because the railings are far enough part that they could fall through. Overall, the price was good and I would stay here again.

Quiet and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival we noticed the house was much larger than we thought, judging simply from pictures. From the interior design to the wood and furniture everything was so cozy and warm. My daughter and I really enjoyed laying in front of the fire on the softest rug I think I have ever felt. The hot tub was new and clean. King size bed upstairs was super comfortable. Kitchen was fully loaded from what I could tell. We really liked the layout of the home in general. Nice quiet area in the woods. At night it was eerily quiet though. Plenty of other homes in the area, but near perfect silence. There were a couple of things that were minorly problematic or I thought was strange. The first was that there must be some kind of hornet's nest somewhere. I assume the loft area. Over the weekend I disposed of 7 slow moving hornets throughout the house. One on the floor of the kitchen, four on or near a bed in the loft and 2 in the master bathroom. I imagine it was just the cold pushing them inside toward the heat but still made it so my daughter didn't want to sleep in the loft area. The other thing I found strange was the fact that every window inside the house had some blinds or curtains except the master bathroom. Granted the window is fairly high up but just felt weird getting out of the shower with nothing to cover the window from anyone outside. Despite these things everything was wonderful overall and we had a great time.

Best rental experience we've had.

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at different homes every here in Sunriver over last 6 years. This is the first home we all agreed we loved and would return to in the future. We brought 4 children under age 7 and our teenager. House accommodated us all well. First thing we noticed is it appears owners have addressed issues identified in previous reviews. We expected to find furniture and mattresses ready for replacement. Instead we found new furnishings and comfortable beds. Loved the new hot tub. Home nicely equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the bikes and quiet neighborhood compared to other homes we've stayed in.

Only had couple small suggestions: Kitchen is adequately equipped except no baking dishes or cake pans and no BBQ utensils. It would have been nice to have another TV in another room or area to accommodate children or teens and their tastes in evening. Finally, the washing machine is really loud- random clunks and banging during its cycle.

All in all though, probably the best home we've found over the years. Will definitely return. Great value and well cared for home.

In need of some TLC!!!

  • 3 of 5

We had a great time in Sunriver we stayed at the home for 4 nights. We loved where the house was located it is not as close to the neighbors as some homes we have stayed at in Sunriver so it feels very private on the nice deck in the front of the house. The inside of the home needs some attention.

The brand new hot tub was awesome!

4 cruiser bikes were a nice bonus

sharc passes always a plus

location was great near lots of trails and a quick ride anywhere.

Downstairs bedrooms were nice ...we eventually moved downstairs since the master bedroom was far from comfortable

kitchen well equipped

The master bedroom/bath is a complete mess no blinds or window coverings on the windows so no chance of sleeping in or any privacy in the bathroom the bed is rock hard and the showerhead needs some updating....very easy things to change just takes a little effort.

Living room:

The blinds they did have didn't go up or down and were broken they looked like they were 30 years old so it stays very dark in that room...again very easy fix with very little effort

and the couches and chairs are definitely at the end of there life overall the living room looked kind of like a value village showroom felt kind of dirty.

The Bbq was a nice bonus until I noticed 2 out of 3 burners were broken.

The Maaco rug when you walk in was a real nice touch I felt like I was walking into a auto repair shop.

Overall it seems the owners need to try a lot harder and with a little effort this place could be real nice but I will look elsewhere next time we are in sunriver.Ive rented many times at the same price range for much cleaner updated homes.
