The stately spacious detached lodge (140 m2) is equipped for 2 to 3 people.
Being detached house right on the forest and lake is it is not suitable for children under 10 years
The lodge was built around 1810 to 1899 the lodge was occupied by the gamekeeper with his hunting dogs.
We have the lodge considerably enlarged and added contemporary luxury. The oak timbers with pin / hole connection is rebuilt, the thick natural stone walls and vaulted ceilings have been restored.
Layout of the house
A 14th century stone fireplace, probably from the great tower of the castle is built in the living room and works as a fireplace.
Because of large stone blocks and using stone steps of a ruin there is a connection originated from the sun terrace to the covered balcony.
There is a spacious two-storey extension designed with many windows and door parties
By using large window and door sides, there is a natural transition from inside to outside
From both the lodge and the surrounding area is the view alternately in our lake, castle, large meadows and forest. .
- Entrance with toilet. Both these rooms have vaulted ceilings.
- Spacious living room with vaulted ceiling and a 14th century stone fireplace.
- In the light of cedar-finished construction, a luxury kitchen with appliances.
On both sides of the kitchen three double doors giving access to the terraces with views of the lake and large garden which turns into the forest.
- On the ground floor an additional bedroom for 1 person.
Accessible via the oak staircase, or via the covered terrace through the stone stairs.

Because of the large window at the front is low, there is beautiful view of the meadow where the whole summer, our Percheron draft horses.
Two oval windows Burgundy (oeuils the boeufs) complete the view of the historical buildings and our lake.
The luxury bathroom has separate toilet, double stone sink, a spacious shower with luxury shower and underfloor heating system.

The detached lodge is situated on a large piece of land at the rear directly adjoining our forest.
On one side of the kitchen is a shaded terrace.
On the other side, a large wooden deck where a spacious hot tub - the Source Dubois - stands with a diameter of 185cm.
The Source Dubois is heated by a wood-burning stove in the water. Just filling and heating of the hot tub is a relaxing pastime.
From the Source Dubois there is ample view of the lake.
