Cute place, good location

  • 4 of 5

I liked the apartment. I didn't mind all the steps. They should probably replace the mattresses.

Rented a bike during my stay for getting around and very much enjoyed that. Rode it to the state park most days. This was my second visit to Rehoboth. I always enjoy it here. Peaceful place with great shopping and restaurants.

The place is nice in the picture than in person. Washer and dryer NOT located inside the unit.

Below are our likes and dislikes about this property.

Likes:

-Location was walkable to shops and the boardwalk.

-Decor was cute.

-Dishes/glasses and utensils were nice but other cooking and serving items like a baking tray or serving dishes were lacking.

-Covered parking

-Parking permit

Dislikes:

-The bathtub drain was not working properly from day one so the water backed up quite a bit (about 5 inches or so) when taking a shower. A contractor did come and while the drain situation improved minimally the first day, it went back to poor draining the rest of the time.

-The bed in the master bedroom was too soft

-One of the biggest disappointment was the the washer and dryer not being in the unit. This property came up in my search in which a washer and dryer in unit was one of my criteria. There was no mention anywhere that the washer and dryer was located in the hallway and shared by other units. This was very misleading.

-Dishwasher worked intermittently.

-There was no lighting in the dining area.

-The curtains in the dining area don't close so there was no privacy.

-Carpet had stains

-Hallway is not air conditioned

Condo was nice, close enough to the beach but far enough to not get stuck in traffic

Condo was very nice. Walk or ride a bike everywhere in town. Although I wish I had known you had to climb 3 flights of stairs prior to booking as I'm getting a new knee at the end of the month and it really did a number on me. Other than that, the condo had everything we needed.

It's a better deal than staying at a hotel.

  • 3 of 5

Pros: If you're just going to the boardwalk & restaurants, it's a nice 3 block walk (blocks are pretty long, so you need to drive to the beach if you're carrying a bunch of stuff). The walk to the boardwalk felt very safe. And had much to choose from, as far as shops and restaurants.

The condo had a decent size kitchen and nice refrigerator. Two nice size bedrooms. The adjoining condos were quiet. There is a stacked washer and dryer, which is shared with neiboring condo (however, you're lucky to fit 3 bath towels in the washer. Also, the tenets in #5 keep the small laundry closet, so packed with beach stuff, you can barely or safely access the unit). The condo was decently cleaned. However, on the closet shelves, I found a pair of someone's left over underwear.

Cons: The air conditioning is poor and the condo does not cool off. The condo is on the top floor, so you have to climb 6 flights of stairs with all of your belongings. The plumbing in the bathroom is irritating. The toilet is slow to flush and fill. The hot water in the shower quickly runs out.

It's also irritating to bring all of your own paper products (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins, paper cups). In addition, you have to bring all of the bed linens and blankets, plus bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and foot towel, as well as a kitchen towel and beach towels. And not to mention laundry detergent. Keep in mind, bringing water or any other beverage/groceries up all of those stairs, can be exhausting.

Finally, some directions could have been clearer. There's a free parking permit for "designated areas," at the beach. However, no direction on where these lots are located. It was easier, just to pay a parking meter, then to find the designated lot. Also, there are supposed to be garbage cans to put your trash outside, yet nowhere to be found (even with directions), until 1 packed one made an appearance on trash day.

All in all, I would prefer to stay here, instead of a hotel.

An adorable condo that is perfectly located.

  • 4 of 5

The condo was perfect for the four of us attending a bridal shower weekend. It was located on a quiet street yet it was less than half a block from the main drag. It is walking distance to the beach, the boardwalk and all of the shops and restaurants. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need and the quality is good. Beds are comfortable but the pillows could be softer, may what to bring your own! I would definitely stay there again. Added bonus, it came with a covered parking spot.
