Fantastic place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location of the accommodation, it was like there was no one else in the world. The location allowed easy access to the Volcano National Park and other sightseeing on the island. The accommodation had all the amenities needed for a lovely stay. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and do many of the walks on the Volcano. Thank you Derek.

We had a wonderful stay! It was clean, modern and enough room for myself and wife to relax and enjoy. Nice touch with extras such as coffee beans with a grinder, toaster oven is always welcome! Bonus that it was close to volcano national park and hilo which we visited often.

we would stay again!

thanks!

James

Beautiful, Quaint Cottage... Perfect for us

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful, quaint cottage nestled right outside Volcano National Park. It was perfect for us... an affordable and reasonable alternative to the hotel scene. The cottage was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the cottage beautifully decorated. The only issue we had was storage, as we traveling for an extended time. It was a little challenging to figure out where to put everything (we had two large and two small bags). We made it work though. If we came back to Volcano National Park, we would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, relaxed, quiet, and incredibly close to the Volcanoes National Park

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here in May, and we absolutely loved it! The cottage is very close to the Volcanoes National Park -- perfect for people who like to hike but still enjoy the comfort of warm shower and fluffy bed at the end of the day. :) The cottage is VERY clean, and the decor is very simple and classy. It was still pretty chilly at night and we took advantage of the fireplace. We pretty much ate most of our meals at Lava Rock Cafe...because that place is awesome. You can get sandwiches to take on hikes at the general store next door. If you're looking for chill place to stay while you enjoy the Volcanoes National Park, there's no better place than to stay here. We will definitely stay here next time. Mahalo!
