Notes
- Villa Tiferet is a large kosher home ideal for families. We do not rent out the rooms separately. It is very large, tranquil and private and gives big families a chance to be together, yet find their own quiet space when needed. This is why families choose Villa Tiferet over a hotel. Visitors on bar mitzvah tours have enjoyed this property. Others have come for Lag B'Omer in nearby Meiron and also to do an upsheirin. Villa Tiferet is now available as a Passover house rental and will be fully kashered for Pesach. Also ideal for two or three couples as a romantic, relaxing get away. For music lovers, a great time to come is for the exciting Klezmer Festival in August. For those want to explore the north and do some hiking, biking or archeological touring, Safed is an ideal location. It is also nearby many wineries and a half hour from the refreshing waters of the Kinneret. There is also horseback riding nearby. Tourists must provide a valid B2 visa to waive the 17% VAT.

Ask a questionAbout Nicole Bem
We moved to Israel from Toronto in 2005 with our four kids in tow, the oldest being 12 years old at the time. We live in Ra'anana but we really love Tsfat and have a number of very dear friends there. Once our oldest two kids joined the army we just have not had as many opportunities to spend family time together up there. Rather than see the place sit empty for months at a time we decided to make it available for others to enjoy as well. It is a remarkable place and we do our utmost to ensure that your stay is superb. After-all, you are guests in our home! We have had excellent feedback from our guests and we are so happy in helping people fall in love with israel.
Nicole Bem purchased this villa in 2006
Why Nicole Bem chose Artists Colony
Have you taken a look at the pictures? The house was originally part of an Armenian Church built in Tsfat some 400 to 500 years ago. The walls are three feet thick. When we bought the place it was very bare-bones. We spent close to a year renovating it. When you lie back in one of the cozy sofas in the family room you look up to domed stone vaulted ceilings above you. You feel like you are living in a castle. At the same time we've put in all the modern amenities that one would need at very high-standards. We did not cut any corners because unlike other places that are built for hotel guests, this is a home that we built for ourselves. We hope that you will love it as much as we do!
What makes this villa unique
Serenity. Plenty of space. Two private courtyards. An opulent dining area. A place to escape the busy world outside and to connect with your loved ones. One of the most common feedback that we receive is people telling us how peaceful they felt there.
