Alison usually meets and greets new guests at the apartment upon check-in at 4pm. However if you need to arrive later, a key can be made available by prior arrangement for self check-in at any time. Alison has lived in Bournemouth for many years and is happy to provide advice about the local area, good eateries, etc.
Why Alison chose Bournemouth
Just a few minutes away near the pier, Boscombe Spa Village has an activity park for adults and children alike, with outdoor gym, table tennis a climbing rock and music trail on the pier for the children. The promenade is great place for walking, running, roller blading or cycling (but check out the leaflet on how and when in the hamper) If you’re keen on water sports, Sorted Surf Shop and the Surf Centre hire wet suits and equipment for surfing, kayaking and stand up paddle-boarding. They offer tuition too. Lifeguards are on duty at Boscombe, Bournemouth and Southbourne looking out for your safety.
What makes this Apartment unique
While you are in Beautiful Dorset you can take the opportunity to visit the World Heritage Jurassic Coast of the Purbecks. The most fun way is to drive to the chain car ferry at Sandbanks via the luxury houses of the Sandbanks Peninsula or if you feel energetic you can cycle along the Promenade from the apartment to the ferry. There is a Jazz Café at the end of Panorama Road for a coffee stop and many famous pubs on the Purbeck Coastal Path.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Lovely apartment , well equipped except for no bath mat in one bathroom and no razor point. As we had no car we found the access a bit difficult but the bus services excellent. Boscombe town seemed a bit run down and the land train was attacked by thugs one day and the staff threatened. Beach area clean and we had good meals in the local restaurants.
Comfy user friendly appartment
We had a very cold and wet few days in the area and really enjoyed coming back to this lovely warm and cosy wheelchair accesible space.
Thank you for your review Marg. I'm glad you found the apartment cosy and warm. Although the building is listed it is surprisingly accessible and the lift is a boon. I have had several guests with mobility issues who have been delighted with their stay and one of these families is returning for their 3rd annual fortnight's holiday again this year.
You and your family are most welcome to return - I will try and arrange better weather for you next time!
Spacious apartment suitable for little ones and close to Boscombe pier
A roomy, comfortable apartment in a beautiful building. Close to the pier and beach, but a hill up on returning. Very suitable for our toddler and 2 month old. Appreciated the welcome pack.
Modern well equipped and comfortable apartment close to beach and amenities
Good communication with the owner and easy secure access to building and apartment. Big enough to welcome other family members to stay, with highchair and camping cot available. Easy on-road close by for visitors. Very much appreciated the welcoming touches; wine, nibbles and breakfast goodies. There were even some Christmas decorations and a Christmas Tree. Everything was tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Alison went the extra mile to ensure that there was a warm welcome
An enjoyable short break.
Excellent location and we had very good warm weather. Enjoyed the very good bus service.
Thank you for your positive comments. Bournemouth does provide a great reliable bus services for holiday visitors without their own transport. Thank you leaving the apartment in good order and you are welcome to return again anytime
A lovely comfortable and homely apartment located close to all amenities and beach
We both loved this property. Only a few minutes walk to the sea front at Boscombe and close to shops. There is plenty of information at the property recommending eateries, take aways and places to visit. We love Bournemouth and are regular visitors. On this trip we particularly liked Brownsea Island and a walk from Studland to Old Harry Rocks and Swanage. The apartment itself was spacious, well equipped and extremely comfortable- would definitely book again.
Thank you for your kind review Lorna. Glad you were able to make the most of the local facilities and the beautiful Purbecks. Hope you managed to see the famous red squirrels on Brownsea Island - autumn is the best time to see them. You are very welcome to return again anytime
