Home was fine for a short trip, lots of space for sleeping but could use some upgrades. Beds were average, I would suggest guests bring their own pillows as these were a bit flat. The jacuzzi bath tub was a hit with the kids though it felt as the tub didn't sit in the space flush, you can see where there has been repairs. We didn't have time to utilize the hot tub outside, but it looked nice! Towels could be replaced as the ones present had a dingy smell, I washed before using to be sure. Drive up the mountain was thrilling, very closeto Dollywood theme park. Overall fine stay, pricing was good but would prefer more luxury next visit.
Amazing view, clean & spacious, wasn’t ready to leave!
We had a great stay at a view for you! The only problem is we weren’t ready to pack up and leave! The cabin is very spacious and can easily sleep 8 people. The view is absolutely amazing! Owners respond quickly & accommodated all of our needs promptly. We plan on renting this cabin in the future.
Sweet little cottage!!
Loved the place, view was the best. Never could get the hot tub to get hot or work. Loved the large jacuzzi!! Road scared me going up the mountain, but I got use to it. Totally would say there again!
Quiet and peaceful. What else is there to say? It's a cabin. Nice little cozy cabin.
Beautiful place to stay. The cabin is smaller but plenty of room for the family to enjoy. Personally for us we enjoyed not having a huge cabin. Easily can handle a family of six. Can sleep eight but six is comfortable. The only concern we had was turning around my big truck, but a simple backing up to the y in the road made it easy. The only other concern was having to leave. We wanted to stay a few more days!!!!! The owners were so gracious to refund me an extra night for the dates I myself mixed up and then let us in a day early so we basically paid them back the refunded day. Super understanding people. Enjoy
Find somewhere else!!! Needs maintenance. Owners rude!!
The road coming into this property is narrow and very steep and has no guard rail. Not a drive for those afraid of heights. The deck flooring outside is made of plywood covered with a thin carpet. You can hear the rotting wood squeak when you walk and it feels very unsafe as the cabin is high on a cliff. The wood around the hot tub was black with mold. Aside from this the view is nice, but a bit noisy from the highway below. We were very disappointed that the hot tub never got hot the entire time as this would have been nice after a day of walking. The cabin was well equipped. Coffee maker had black slugde in the inside water reservoir but I was able to bleach it out and make use of it. On check out day the owners texted us (from Florida) and very rudely demanded that we take our belongings and leave. This was not well received as we had been gone for hours at the time of the text. Apparently our 9 year old left a 2 shirts and a pair of shorts and the cleaners assumed we were still there. (Though I don't understand how as there were no cars or people at the property) We informed the owners of this and they apologized for the error. Later that night around 12:00am they emailed us a bill for $150 stating that thier cleaners had to remove personal items. They also filed it as as a travel insurance claim. This is absolutely unacceptable and we were currently in contact with Homeaway regarding this listing. Lucky for us we had proof that we had checked out and submitted it to insurance and Homeaway. We rent cabins in Pigeon Forge twice every year and have never had a issue like this. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
The view and the stay was great.
The cabin is in lovely place. The view was amazing. We had everything we need. We love it so much....
10 minutes to Gatlinburg's Arts & Crafts District...the 'original' Gatlinburg strip! 1-2 miles to the Dollywood entrance. Smoky Mountain Wedding Chapel, located on our mountain road.
