Cabin in Eidelweiss Village, Madison (near North Conway) - sleeps 6!

Bedrooms 3
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 4 - 7 nights

About the property

A great base camp for exploring the White Mountains!

Our beloved cabin is located in the foothills of the White Mountains within the charming village of Eidelweiss of the town of Madison, New Hampshire. The cabin is owned by Greg Parsons (co-author of New England Waterfalls: A Guide to More Than 400 Cascades & Waterfalls) and his wife, Abby Parsons.

The cabin is available for WEEKLY rentals on a year-round basis. In winter, we rent for 4-night periods (we do not rent for less than 4 nights).

The cabin is located less than 10 minutes from the famed Kancamagus Highway (NH-112), and is only 20 minutes from downtown North Conway and Cranmore Mountain. There are an endless amount of things to see and do within a short drive of the cabin. It's impossible to get bored in this vacation hot spot!

Several ponds within Eidelweiss Village provide nice, sandy beaches for relaxing, swimming and kayaking. Parking is free and we have two kayaks available for use in season.

The cabin is cozy and mostly open-concept, which helps encourage group camaraderie.

The cabin officially sleeps 6-8 people. There are enough beds to sleep 8 people, but the cabin does feel more much more comfortable with 6 people or less. More than 6 people can seem a bit cramped.

NO PETS (sorry, no exceptions - our daughter is allergic to pet dander).

Please take note that the cabin does *NOT* currently have cable/internet/WiFi. We may or may not add it in the future (email us to inquire on current status). However, we have 150 DVDs to watch, and dozens of puzzles and card/board games to use.

Please also take note that the cabin, like many rentals in the area, does not have A/C. This is not normally an issue, even with extremely hot days in the summer. The cabin has several fans available for use.

Only FULL WEEK rental requests in summer please. You are welcome to stay fewer than 7 days, but we must charge the full week rate for each reservation. The only exception is holiday weekends, where you can rent for 4 nights (send us an email to inquire on pricing)

One of our favorite vacation spots ever.

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this couzy cabin. It a traditional log cabin decorated to reflect the mountain environment. It was much more spacious than we expected. Its conveniently located within a short drive of several mountains. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much.

Cozy cabin with everything we needed!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here! We were able to ski at king pine and attitash. We were also in close proximity to Conway where we visited some coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. The cabin was clean and cozy! We enjoyed watching some of the many movies and playing board games after long ski days. Would definitely recommend!

Love this House...

  • 5 of 5

This is our second year, and we love the house:) Perfect size for the family and sleeping quarters spread out... Everything needed for the kitchen (except muffin pans:)) and plenty of games and puzzles... We have made it a point to do a 1000 piece puzzle every time we go... The house is close to King Pine which is a fantastic mountain to ski at, as well as close to the center of North Conway... The only small complaint we could have is the plow guy did not come the first snow that we had up there (and we were home all day) and so the driveway was a mess and pretty slippery... The second snow, the plow guy came but only did the very end of the driveway that curves because we had gone skiing for the day. We had left the keys in the car in the hopes he would move it, but did not. ANd he never came back. But other than that, the stay was great and we will definitely do it again next year..
